Nebraska could lose 50 in a row and still be an overall better program than Iowa. Kinda pathetic their fans feel the need to display their insecurities so often.

Ferentz 1-10 his first year at Iowa. 😂
It took our QB throwing an INT in the last couple mins and a last second FG for Iowa to beat Nebraska this year. That's Rhule in his first season, and Ferentz in his 25th.

Update for Husker fans… now you’re 5-6 with a likely loss upcoming to Iowa. Another losing season & no bowl. 7th straight year despite an easy schedule (avg opponent power ranking #66). Didn’t beat a team ranked higher than #63. Only scored over 20 three times & never against a team rated higher than #72. Got crushed in your only game vs a team in the top 20. But hey… your coach gives good interviews and speeches. Looks like another New Year’s watching your worn VHS of the “game of the century” from 50+ years ago.

Why is a person from Florida hating on Nebraska this hard?😂

@@PESGmanag OK. Long comment but since you asked... due to career, I've lived in the heart of Penn St, Florida St, U of Florida, U of Miami, and Virginia Tech countries, and Nebraska. Spent 2 yrs in Omaha... it was the longest decade of my life for many reasons. And BY FAR Nebraska fans were/are the most annoying, arrogant, obsessed and unwilling to admit to their program's flaws, faults, cheating. The ridiculous, immature stuff I heard and saw almost daily was a combination of funny and sad. A Rhule speech vid hit my feed mid season and the comments were filled with delusional Husker fan nonsense so I commented about how it would be another losing, no bowl season. Another example of Husker fans grasping on to nonsense to claim "we're back!!!". And of course, many responses to my post saying I was wrong. So when I saw this video, I thought I'd point out the obvious. Maybe it's part of being a Husker fan, or maybe it's that area. While there, I had many people insist to me Omaha and/or Lincoln was the BEST place to live in the whole country... but NONE of them had ever lived anywhere else. Yet none of them would consider any opinion other than that, even from people who'd lived other places. So... Husker fans didn't realize Osborne got a blind eye from the NCAA once he became a media darling (gifted the 1995 championship by fawning writers) and once he left the next coaches did well but could get away with everything Osborne did. So the top 5 stuff didn't happen and spoiled demanding Husker fans kept pushing out coaches who won but not enough for them... leading to top coaches and talent realizing they shouldn't go to a school in small city with no fun city nearby, cold windy weather, and unreasonable expecations. And that has produced 7 straight losing seasons, no bowl games, and Nebraska no long being considered even a top 20 coaching job. So... it's actually Husker fans' fault.

@@a1aprospects470 I believe you mean the 94 championship, which Nebraska had a stronger case for them Penn State. And I really don’t see what’s wrong with fans being excited and hopeful. I’m 25 and have never seen anything that I remember better than a 10-4 season. A lot of the fans at this point aren’t living in the past because they didn’t even see it lol, we just want to see a respectable football team trot onto the field.

@@PESGmanag Well, you raise two points so two replies. First, I lived in Omaha in 2004-5 and worked with 100 people who were all ridiculous Husker fans. EVERYTHING revolved around Husker football. Every day of the entire year the city newspaper had big articles about it. It was all people talked about... even in March. I had lived there 4 months and the college I went to played Nebraska and everyone was astounded and upset that I hadn't become a diehard Husker fan and abandoned THE SCHOOL I ATTENDED. Shocked I would be rooting for my own school. But the best was a Monday after one of the few nice weather weekends of the year in May... not too hot, not cold, and amazingly for Omaha little wind, so I asked another exec what he did on the perfect Saturday afternoon. He and his wife hosted two other neighbors to sit inside and watch the 1972 Nebraska - Oklahoma game on VHS tape. Or maybe it was how mad everyone got at me because I didn't used Jerry Tagge's (former Husker QB) real estate company when I bought a house. Many other stories but you get the idea. Hate to say it, but the likelihood of your generation ever experiencing elite level again is pretty slim.

And second, that 1994 championship was given to Nebraska because of a false impression and the media loved Osborne and Paterno had already won 2 (but also had 3 other undefeated seasons where the media voted a lesser team #1). Results in bear it out. Nebraska was 7th in points scored, 3rd in pts allowed, and 4th in differential. Penn State was 1st in scoring, 6th in pts allowed, and 2nd in differential. They had nearly identical strength of schedule (4th and 6th in the nation). The power ranking method at the time rated Nebraska #4 and PSU #1. And... Paterno refused to run up scores (unlike Osborne) so most games the bench played the whole 4th quarter. The false impression? They were required to play in the Rose Bowl against #6 Oregon (who was only #6 because they lost a game due to injuries earlier in the season). PSU won by 18 while Nebraska beat Miami by 7, and the writers (most of whom are geeky guys who never played a down) voted for the Huskers and Osborne claiming then that Nebraska's win "meant more." Hate to break it to you, but Nebraska couldn't have stopped Penn State that year. No one could. Relative to the era, there wasn't a more dominant offense until LSU/Burrow.
