I was really worried that it was going to be difficult to see the spaces that were to be crocheted in but, it isn't at all. It's actually a very relaxing stitch to work and easy to do while watching a show. I don't have to keep a count or anything. So far, I am loving the way this is turning out. Beautiful!
I'm learning to make my first baby blanket for my first great-grand-baby, all with your help giving us these wonderful tutorials. Today is Feb16, 21. I hope to have this perfect in 4 weeks.

Love the border but I'm making mine with the velvet look polyester yarn, so I think this border would get lost in the fluff ahah, Thank you for sharing your talent, I have made a couple of other blankets of yours too, I could listen to you speak all day, you are so softly spoken and gentle, it is very calming for me. Your work is beautiful, but I'm finding that i get thru your blanket patterns with no issues at all but when it comes to your boarders that's when it all goes downhill for me . This is second blanket of yours that i have finished but can't complete the blankets because I'm having issues doing the boarders

Would you like to tell me what brands from Turkey are good brands?
I like the bigger yarns like 4 weight (worsted) yarns.

Hi Channah. Alize, Nako, Kartopu and Himalaya is Turkish bigger and good brands. But it's a little hard to find 4 weight yarn here. There is not much choice. I think they have more choice in Himalaya yarns.
If they are going to go to Istanbul they can visit "Kurkcu Han" in Eminonu. They can find many good and cheaper yarns there. And they can visit "Kapali Carsi" too 😊Have a lovely day 😙
