G'day from Australia, I am glad that you pronounce it Lithgow not Lithgcow, well done my friend. I am glad you are using good old Aussie rifle, been made in the same factory since 1912. Look up the Lithgow factory museum, it has one of the best displays, I have seen in the world. even a very varied collection of LUGERS. People are bringing up issues of magazine feeding problems, well that issue has been resolved a while back now, as the villain as to with the feeding issue, was the top plate that that pushed the bullet up was made of plastic I believe, they are made of metal now. With no issues. I have fired my friends at the range and the Lithgow is a sweet unit to operate, mine is coming very soon with a walnut stock and black ceracoat + a March 3-24x52 scope. I might be biased being a Greek Aussie. keep up the good work Mr Revolver guy.
Thank you much Black Prince I have had no issues except in the extreme cold and I know that was more ammo related, even my CZ magazines work with it. Only change is the spring the make the trigger a little lighter. This rifle is very consistent and the least pickiest of the bunch. I love pictures when you get yours email me a picture of your setup.
I’m really enjoying this new 22 thing you got going on. You always have excellent content, but a little variety is always nice. Thank you for all that you do. It is greatly appreciated!
A disease for which there is no cure! My wife said I can't watch your channel anymore because I was talking in my sleep about a Lithgow and she thinks Eley is the name of my secret girlfriend. :)
If the rounds are feeding harder with the CZ magazine, eject a few rounds without firing and examine the rounds for cut marks. My Ruger Precision Rimfire was marking up the rounds and I talked to Ruger about the problem and they sent me a new chassis and that fixed the problem. I always looked to me like the old magazine was to low in the chassis and the edge of the barrel was cutting the rounds.
I shot a clean 1000 in a match with my LA101. I use a caldwell tack driver bag and rolled up towel on the rear. I was using centerx ammo that day, but the gun likes Gecco Match @ $3.99 a box. Scope is a used Weaver T36 with a center dot.
I'd like to suggest that you place a cross set of lines and place the stickers dead center of a cross, The horizonal line will help level up & down and the vertical line for left and right! As you shoot the centers it can change you point of aim a little... Great video
@@Dayattherange Not really cheating however it should yield a more precise aiming point especially when bullets cut the small diamond or black spot on the target. You can still lineup the cross hairs on the lines outside the spot...

All due respect to Vudoo and their brilliant "open system" design using a Remington 700 action compatible with triggers, rails, rings, barrels, etc, I gotta say that the Lithgow performs better at half the price or less. Makes me want to buy one now!
Hi Big Guy I’m going to the fange this afternoon, I will give Eley match a try in myCZ455 I hope I get the same results that you did , Steve from Australia
If the Lithgow has feeding issues with Cz magazines would single shot feeding eliminate the accuracy problem? I often get a flyer on my first shot. You have me wondering if it's the Mag's. I will experiment and let you know.
Could I ask where you got the bolt handle for the Lithgow 101? It looks sized for the rifle better than most that I see. Thanks for all the great videos also. Great job!
Hay there Brother , you shoot same as me and a lot of us . NOW here's the kicker use bunny busting ammo like a lot of other brothers . What you reckon???
This video is awesome. It proves the point I've been trying to make for months and months. Guys spend unnecessary money on a vudoo and top ammo expecting it to keyhole shots and when it doesn't they get all mad and pissed lol making excuses. You don't need to spend 7 grand on a vudoo to shoot tight groups ESPECIALLY at 50 yards. My built 1022 shoots better than this vudoo and my build ruger precision rimfire shoots even better it shoots better at 100 yards matter of fact.

Gday mate. Isnt it funny how identical guns prefer different bullets. My Lithgow 101 shoots 0.4" groups at 50m with Elley Match all day. It doesn't seem to like the Tenex
I actually believe the weakness of this Lithgow is the inability to feed. I have watched many videos of different shooters with this rifle and they all have difficulty chambering rounds. It must be distorting them somewhat.
@@Dayattherange Can you confirm your groups might be better with the original mag? I have a Ruger 10-22 with all Volquartsen parts except for the receiver that has trouble with accuracy with a couple of magazines. They feed perfectly but they always tend to have drastic flyers for no reason the other three magazines I have don't do this.
I had to adjust the follower in the magazine and a small adjustment with a file on the plastic feed guides that releases the rim of the .22 round , it allows the round to feed smoothly with “ NO “ damage to the bullets. A 10 Rd steel CZ magazine worked better than the plastic magazine.
You don't the front rest up on it points under the legs that a big no no too. you your hat hit the scope and moving the gun. suppressor hurt accuracy too. Here's a videos you need to what this how the shot off a bench and test ammo This how I to do it
Take a little advice from someone that has been shooting .22's a long time. Fix your original rest. Nothing wrong with the Rock BR. Glad to see you finally have a decent rear bag. All Eley, with the EPS bullet, starts out as Tenex. It gets downgraded to Match and Team depending on accuracy results across the five test barrels at Eley. Cleaning the barrels was a waste of time. BTW as I have stated before, all .22 must Lot tested even Tenex. I have some Lots of Team that will out shoot Tenex. I shot some Eley Benchrest Outlaw at 200 yds today. 10 shot group was a good bit less than 2" out of my CZ 455 with stock barrel in a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock. One additional tip. Get a track plate for the fore end of your rifles. Here you go. www.whiddengunworks.com/product/track-plate-2/
Aware of the track plate I have one for the Kimber 82G Joe. Yes one can add on many accessories which definitely help prove how accurate a rifle is and I may progress that way but for now I want to keep it stock and have a good baseline. That way anything I do change I know how much of a difference it made and maybe others can learn from it also.
@@Dayattherange Your Rock BR can be made as good as a high dollar rest. Remove the front pad you are using.
