This is a hack I saw years ago and always wanted to try it out. It's very straightforward and surprisingly useful. It also works for pears and probably various other hard fruits too. If you want to keep it hygienic, I think you can squeeze the apple inside a plastic bag and then cut off a small corner to let the juice out.

I think a cleaner way to do it would be to grate the apples and then squeeze the pieces through a strainer and all the juice will drip out, like making a strudel lol, I always drink the juice when making one
I’d recommend a milk bag but yeah I can see that being much cleaner
Yeah that's a great idea. It'd be even easier with a nut milk bag too, or muslin cloth.

This is relative to the hack. But in China it is really popular for people to freeze pears and nashi fruits and eat them. It’s kind of like eating a fruit but also drinking juice at the same time, it’s really cold and satisfying to eat. If you don’t want to freeze it yourself, you can probably find it at Asian groceries.

When my sons were little we lived in a house that had an apple tree in the back yard, I would make all kinds of desserts and things with the apples. I never did this but I did make homemade applesauce and it was delicious! I do want to try this trick though!!

Grate the apple and push the pieces through a fine sieve. Then pour through a cloth to completely get rid if any bits floating around. Or just squeeze the apple bits in the cloth.

It looks like cider is supposed to. Cold pressed apple cider is common here and it's always darker.. Apple juice is always filtered so it's clearer. I enjoy cider far more than apple juice.

When I was in 5th or 6th grade I did something similar but slightly different. At lunch you could get a red apple, I didn’t like red apples but I loved the juice so I would take it back to class with me and press the skin of the apple, roll it and ‘bruise’ it a lot, eventually the juice in the apple would gather under the skin and with a bite it could be sucked out.

We have them rarely in our country, but i did a simple hack - just freeze a normal snickers and add on top the cheapest vanilla ice cream
A cheese cloth may make this a bit easier to get more juice out and keep out seeds and pulp 🤔

I remember trying to make apple juice with my hands but I was also using an ice cream maker machine which was a toy kit but for actual ice cream. I had no idea what I was even doing but I obviously did not succeed making apple juice because it wasn’t frozen at all. I just used a regular apple lying around.

Don't squish the seeds though as they have cyanide in them and could poision you,
The amount of cyanide in apple seeds is too small to cause any harm.
