I came to the gym today thinking I would be able to use mine right out of the bag although I saw other reviews. Unfortunately, not the case. Hopefully this video will help so I can use it soon. Was looking forward to doing some double unders today😲
Trying to place the accent. I'd say mid or mid-west Wales, spent some time in Cardiff and then possibly Northern Ireland (maybe ex British Forces?) perhaps moving to the US for a while then on to Thailand. I'm an ex-pat also, so I'm pretty good with accents.
I have used it twice since receiving it this past weekend and absolutely love it! As for sizing it prior to use, I am shorter than the fellow in vid above, so I had to wire-cut more off, but found that by simply loosening the dials on each handle helped to save cutting off too much cable-rope. *per his suggestion to go a little longer with cable-rope as a beginner. The 1-foot test standing on the middle has it right about at armpit level. Awesome product!
dude same here. this is what i did. take the cap from the ends of the rope and cut the cap and then it becomes a slider. so now u will have a rope but no cap for the safety. works well and if u really care about the safety of the sharpness then tape the edges. or simply make an alternative of the slider using tape.
I would invest in a perfectly sized jump rope mat from Cross Rope....Trust me on this because I like you learned the hard way...Should set you back about $60 Bucks... www.crossrope.com/products/crossrope-jump-rope-mat
we dont recommend tying knots in the cable. the cable we use doesnt know easily (or kink for that matter) and a knot on the end of the cable will throw off the weight of the cable. we include 2 cables with our rope so if you need one longer and one shorter for whatever reason, you're all set.
Impossible to tie this cable into a knot. Also impossible to SNIP this cable as easily as shown here. Luckily the new wod nation rope system has an improved mechanism of adjustment.
Don't have a wire cutter and have been destroying my new fucking rope for the past 20 minutes. Not happy. But the rope is amazing. Wish I was taller I guess.
"I'm going to want the jump rope to be about here" doesn't give any guidance as to where on the body to position the handles for sizing.
Neal Bateman my exact thought. I'm assuming mid-chest
@CJ Jacobs is it his nipple? His chest? Always with the handles facing out? Should've been more exact
The positioning should be handlers un to the arm pits..this guy is basically instructing himself and not the others he seeks to instruct....
Hahaha use your eyes, looked to be at the base of his breast, inch or so below nipple, if a newby about nipple or above.
@@ozdaawg can’t see how much our little slack at his feet though

So basically right about nipple level, oh and I've got the exact same jump rope!
Great to know how to size a jump rope properly.
Mine doesn’t have a slider :(
Same :( have you gotten around for any alternatives?
@Ruminating15 I have the same problem and I will try this!!
Mine too. Had to use tape 🙁
Mine neither :|

That was Sherlock Holmes level dude
Trying to figure that out too
I bought the Wod Nation jump rope and the screws aren't able to be unscrewed whatsoever! ...at least not with my hands :(
Very informative. Thank you
So I need a wire cutter to be able to start jump roping...
Yes. Its adjustable so you will need to cut off any extra that you don't need.
Honestly so trash how you gonna expect everyone to have a wire cutter 🤦🏾♂️, just bought the ting and I’m pissed
Everyone worth their salt should own a pair of wire cutters or combination pliers. If not, your neighbour, friend, uncle........

I just got my WOD Speed Rope in the mail; I look forward to training with it!
Brief question: W.O.D. is, I assume, an acronym?
hope you love it. let us know!!

When you mess up the rope whips you like a slave. I kind of like that though
Ong bro. Got me moaning each whip.
Kinky lol
That "handle" is a great idea.
Looks like a quality product!
I was using my jump rope and then it broke, now i'm using this speed rope but i feels hard to jump on it idk why
I already got s good rope but no sliders. Do you sell them or any recommendations where to get them?

apollon1 just use zip ties
Same here
Vinyl tubing, aquarium hose line, shrink wrap, electrical tape....you can do it!
@@themafiaguruommg this is actually soo smart! 😂 I‘m gonna try this
How to fix it when folded
this rope sucks on concrete. mine broke the plastic covering and is now exposing the metal wire
$48 horse stall mats are great to protect your knees but also your cable. Nylon will also eventually fray on concrete.

@@frankeinstein1 that's what did. I own cross rope now and dont regret it so far
Can you also make knots on the rope to make it shorter or is it better to cut it?

Do you ship outside the US?
Thanks✌🙏
Are all colours the same quality?
yes. all colours are the same quality
awesome, thanks!
Nice❤
Cheers!
Can i use scissors
you cannot use scissors to cut the cable
if you make so much money you wouldn't need to do a commercial
Love how crossfitters think so good coz do double unders. Boxers do those in their sleep
