DESCRIPTION
The TH-SM 2131 Dual is a drag, crosscut and miter saw for cutting wood, laminated panels and plastic. The saw head can be tilted to the left and right for high flexibility in setting miters on two sides. An integrated, mains-powered laser marks the cutting line, enabling the workpiece to be positioned quickly and exactly. The high-quality turntable of the TH-SM 2131 Dual comes with an exact angle adjustment facility for angular cuts which can be latched single handedly in various positions. The integrated drag function enables you to cut particularly wide workpieces. Workpiece supports on two sides, a clamping device for reliable securing of the workpiece and a workpiece stop with rails that adjust to the left and right enable safe, precise operation. The table insert is equipped with a practical scale for reading off the workpiece width. The high-grade carbide-tipped precision saw blade guarantees clean, powerful cutting results. A sawdust bag keeps the workplace clean. A transport brace is provided for easy and safe mobility.

Thanks for the tips. I have also made this dust deflector, using your plan. I have used a plastic can as material, its is plastic is quite soft, and easy to work with.

Yes, man but only a little bit. If you see that vibrations are too high check if the blade is streight and correctly assembled.

Hi. Made measurements. The diam of the sliders is 25mm. The minimum distance is 39mm. Tubes are approximately 360 mm in length

I have one of this machines and it is very useful.
Now I'm having a problem with the mechanical system between the motor and the saw.
Can you please help me how to unmount the rotor of the motor from the gearbox?
I really need to repair the machine by replacing the bearings and I do not know how to unmout this specific part.

Ciao. Per levare la protezione in plastica basta svitare al centro dell'adesivo giallo. Ti sconsiglio comunque di farlo. Potrebbe essere pericoloso e potresti non essere in grado di rimontarlo.
Hi. To take off the plastic guard you have to unscrew the screw in the center of the yellow mark. Do not do this operation. It could be dangerous or you could be not able to reassamble the blade.

Goran jelenić that deflector you see is only a piece of metal. I'm making protype of a better one that drasticly reduce dust. I wold Like to sell this one as sono as it's ready

The problem I am having with mine is that I can't seem to get it accurate... 45 and 90 cuts are never coming out perfect even though they are perfect on both settings... anyone else had this? can someone please suggest something?
Tom Newton hi. I have the same problem. Unfortunately the auto adjustment is not accurated. My suggest is to check every time the angle... and this is What i do. :/
Riccardo Prezioso it's way off :( to set the 90 should be ok to set with a speed square but for pivot 45s... I don't know what to do

Tom Newton if you set it correctly you should not have problem. For 45 degrees i use a 45 bracker. Overvall i"ll try to make a new video and explain how i set it ;)

I just bought this saw for 109€ after I found out that all the brand models around ~300€ (Makita, Bosch, Metabo...) basically have the same flaws and are also made in China. The only downside is that the plastic parts look and feel really cheap.
RubTheCat yes, plastic parts are not Made with high quality abs. Besides "quality brand" ones have more precise adjustment for angle cuts. But, overall, it's a good product ;)
Right, you can't rely on the adjustment scale and have to make a test cut first. But according to amazon reviews, this is also the case with the other slightly more espensive brands. I wish I could afford a Festool. Maybe someday.

Daniele Lampis ciao, ho risolto utilizzando quella scaffalatura a mo' di tavolino. Posso così spostarla dove voglio e tenerla lontano dal muro. In buona sostanza ho usato un piccolo tavolino e adesso nello spazio dietro la sega ho ricavato un cassone dove si va a raccogliere tutta la polvere. Purtroppo lunga è e lunga resta...

Ciao riccardo.ho comprato ieri questa troncatrice ma mi sta deludendo molto perche ogni volta che faccio un taglio la la devo sempre risistemare perche, hai presente la leva che sta dietro quella per i tagli a 45 gradi , ogni volta mi si sposta.vedi se mi puoi consigliare come sistemarla prima che prendo la mazzetta da 25kg....grazie
Giuseppe Pantini ciao! Tieni a bada la mazza fino a domani. Appena posso controllo sulla mia il tuo problema e cerco una soluzione ;) non ti scoraggiare
Giuseppe Pantini ho controllato il problema. Ecco le soluzioni che ti consiglio. 1) svita completamente la manovella e metti una goccia di frena filetti sulla filettatura così da avere maggior grip. 2) sostituisci la rondella con una rondella frenante (per capirci è identica ad una rondella normale ma ha la superficie ruvida è irregolare proprio per impedire che le viti si allentino).
3) controlla che il piolino anteriore di bloccaggio sia in posizione corretta. Dovrebbe intercettare all'interno un buco che blocca la sega a 0, a 45 e a -45 gradi.
Spero di essere stato di aiuto.

Questi non sono problemi e tantomeno risolti ma inutili e banali strategemmi per acquisire visualizzazioni Ti sembra un problema dove sistemare la chiave esagonale ? oppure come risolvere la lunghezza dell'utensile ? ...ci sono cascato anche io. 4.26 minuti persi ad ascoltare un ragazzino paraculo

@@RiccardoPrezioso It's not that English videos are better. I just find it misleading when the title suggests that the video is in English ... and my Italian is only in my name.
That's true. I have to check this! RUclips also now give the possibility to translate title and description automatically for people from other countries. Tha means that, for example, Spanish people will see Spanish title, Spanish description, but than will watch me talking Italian. Here, in Italy, we asked youtube to introduce the possibility to upload many different audios for a single video. This is not aviable now, but I hope they will improve it soon.
