DESCRIPTION
The TH-SM 2131 Dual is a drag, crosscut and miter saw for cutting wood, laminated panels and plastic. The saw head can be tilted to the left and right for high flexibility in setting miters on two sides. An integrated, mains-powered laser marks the cutting line, enabling the workpiece to be positioned quickly and exactly. The high-quality turntable of the TH-SM 2131 Dual comes with an exact angle adjustment facility for angular cuts which can be latched single handedly in various positions. The integrated drag function enables you to cut particularly wide workpieces. Workpiece supports on two sides, a clamping device for reliable securing of the workpiece and a workpiece stop with rails that adjust to the left and right enable safe, precise operation. The table insert is equipped with a practical scale for reading off the workpiece width. The high-grade carbide-tipped precision saw blade guarantees clean, powerful cutting results. A sawdust bag keeps the workplace clean. A transport brace is provided for easy and safe mobility.

Dear Riccardo, another informative video! I've just watched your guide for setting up the Einhell TH-SM 2131 blade accurately (Set Blade for Perfect Cuts) and thought I'd have a quick go at (safely) playing around with the laser. And what do you know, the laser line is no longer 2cm to the left of the blade, but actually now along the cutting edge of the teeth. Genius! I can't thank you enough. Millie grazie!

Thanks Ricardo for you clear and great video. But I have a problem. I have an Einhell N-KGS 211 and my laser does not give a straight line but a wide light. What's wrong with my laser? In the begining there was a straight line, but after a while is disappeard.

Hi, thanks. There is a lens mounted on the laser that makes the spot became a straight line. Maybe this lens moved a bit forward or backward. That could couse the line became wide. If yor're expert you can try to disassemble and reassemble it again.

@@RiccardoPrezioso Hi Ricardo, we did it! The problem was that the laser light had turned 180 degrees. I don't really know what the cause is. I have regularly cleaned the laser, so it is probably that the laserlamp is turned. I immediately set up the laser as you show on your video. I find the laser on mine to be unpredictably intermittent. Works when it feels like it. So I just ignore it! If I get a helpful red line - WONDERFUL! If not, business as usual...
Yeah mate. This makes sense. I use It only to know if the saw is plugged to the 220v.

I have the same type, but mine seem to work on batteries, the light flickers sometimes, I'm pretty sure the issue on mine is the ridiculous short wire bent like a pretzel :')

jorge luis espinoza leiva hi! First of all thanks. This mitre saw is the best product i bought for my workshop. I Made the laser set video and the other one 'couse a lot of people asked me about them. Over all this is a cheep saw, and as every cheep thing, it is not perfect. Other expensive saws have different solutions for those problems. I bought it one year ago and untill today it has never Made problems. My suggestion is: watch more videos, reed reviews, and find the product is better for you 😉

How does the laser light turn on? Could my one be out of battery?
Hi, there is a switch on the mail handle, on the right. The laser doesn't go on battery, there is a little ACDC converter inside the handle.
Any idea why my laser points forwards instead of down?

Estupendo, yo tengo el mismo modelo y va muy bien, solo que si la dejo conectada a la corriente se me calienta la zona del interruptor de arranque, eso es normal? Yo no lo creo, espero que me podáis ayudar . Un saludo.
Sí, lamentablemente es normal. El interruptor láser corta la alimentación de 12v y no la de 220v, por lo que el transformador interno siempre está funcionando. Lo puede resolver desenchufando el enchufe cada vez que termina de usarlo.

Prova inoltre a controllare se la sega è inclinata lateralmente utilizzando una squadretta.
Una volta settata correttamente non dovresti avere problemi ;)
Riccardo Prezioso intanto grazie mille per la risposta il problema è sul taglio verticale che sembra come se si storcesse.
Gianluca Ferri non capisco come si possa "storcere". Se provi a fare un video posso dirti di più. Comunque penso che devi regolare il taglio verticale agendo sulla manopolina che sta dietro la sega. Allentala e cerca di mettere la sega perfettamente perpendicolare. Non stare a guardare l'indicatore dei gradi perché è al 90% sballato. Usa una squadretta o qualche altra cosa a 90 gradi. Magari fai dei tagli di prova fin quando non ti soddisfa.

Bought it new. Thing broke after 6 passes. Blade got caught into safety guard on 45 degree angle. I was shocked.

@@RiccardoPrezioso Sorry mate. Don't have at anymore. Bought it after your videos. Always uses makita normaly but was quite impressed by the einhell. When it went down it will drive the safety guard up automaticly. But it slided down right in the blade. A lot of plastic debris. Even the girlfriend upstairs heard the jam and scared the shit out of her. I used it in total for 8 passes after 6 passes it broke. Finished the job and brought it back to the store.
