I'll bet it is my age (83) but i truly prefer WW 1 biplanes, flying these JET bullets is beyond my skill and reflex level. Well done fellows the speed and flight control is magnificent.
They are awesome to watch especially the warbirds. I have a video that’s more to your style of models it was during our Memorial Day Warbirds event. Thanks for watching! ruclips.net/video/W6OcJA_YlOc/видео.htmlsi=sRjCAU_u2y8F5jPg
Am I the only one who was hoping that the BUFF had 8 (or even just 4) actual turbines in it? It was impressive in any case! And I know, getting that many turbines synced would be an absolute BEAR of a problem, let alone making sure the pylons could carry the weight.
@@cavediver2579 I know it was the wrong word, but especially with the outer engines so far apart, you would want to have the thrust as even/balanced as possible between the port and starboard engines.
@@michiganengineer8621 I haven’t flown rc in several years but started flying turbines in the JPX days. On the model you wouldn’t need 8 turbines, 2 would be fine. It, at least was, and I am sure it is now easy to match thrust with turbines. Match rpm and you match thrust pretty closely, years ago with the Jetcat engines (I was a Jetcat field rep) it was just a matter of a parameter to setup in the ECU’s
@@cavediver2579 I didn't know that on the turbines. I did most of my flying with standard prop jobs. And I definitely agree about not needing multiple turbines on a model that size. Unless someone makes a turbine with about 3-5 lbs max thrust LOL
@@michiganengineer8621 many years ago Superman jet rally was THE show. A brand new 7-something (twin turbine under the wing) commercial airliner was being test flown by a well known factory pilot, and friend of mine, with Bob Violett beside him. This model had twin Ram 750’s and when the pilot took off he went down runway turned out and was at 1000’ heading the opposite direction when both wings departed. It took us all weekend to find most of the parts. It was spectacular to see, I’d rather see something like this with the appropriate power
I hate when rc pilots do unnatural flight movements. Takes away from cool factor. Wanna be a nerd, keep doing them. Like those kids who do the weird things with rc helicopters. Just dumb.
I think that’s what makes our hobby unique. There’s many types of models and flying styles from scale, sport, IMAC, F3S, Pattern just to name a few. We need to keep an open mind at the many avenues people take after mastering the trainer models. If we get rid of a certain style of flying like 3D then we loose a huge group of pilots. It takes a lot of skills and coordination during all the twist, turns and chaos these pilots push themselves and their models. I’m not a 3D pilot but I applaud them for showcasing their skills. We just need to keep an open mind so we can keep our hobby alive for future generations of pilots long after we are gone. Have a blessed day 🙂
HOLY SMOKES AN EA-6B PROWLER!!!!!!! That BUFF is spectacular!!!

Love that B-52. Awesome.
Bestbof show was the B-52F and the A-6 Intruder.
Glad you enjoyed the video thanks for watching
Absolutely amazed at how these operators can grease these aircraft in on landings.
Thanks for watching
The sound of a turbine is addicting. Good stuff
That 8 point roll right in front and low was bad ass!!!
The B-52 landing gear don't alllow landing otherwise, although I've seen people trying to flare; with disastrous results.
@@zefkosta huh?
@@robertmantell1700 you're right to be startled, my fault. I was thinking otherwise because I misread your comment, Sorry.
@@zefkosta Right, but my comment was for the fighter that did the sweet ass'd 8 point roll before the BUFF landing......😄
Love the Buff!

You don’t “sync” turbines…

Very cool
These guys land better than the Air lines!
Until they put a GoPro on em and see for yourself, then you’ll be like, “no…. Was wrong “
Love the B-52 and with the full 8 EDFs. What a thing.
I wonder what can be done about the sound part of it?
A 10-12 bladed fan might help with the sound it’s running on 5 bladed fans
Awesome job people 👏
The B-52 was the highlight....
Super cool!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
My please thanks for watching
B-52 is the best!

No problem
What is the red white and blue one in the beginning? Looks like a sharp "BD5J"
That was the Elite Aerosport BDX
Is anybody running an onboard g meter that records.
I would be interested in knowing what some of the abrupt pull ups generate
I’m not sure
Question, do you think they would allow speedruns out there.
I’m not sure but it might be a safety issue doing speed runs at a large jet event
Do any of these have gyro stabilization?
I’m sure some do
Where in Kentucky is that held?
Campbellsville at Taylor county airport
Where???
Taylor county airport in Campbellsville Kentucky
Sounds like Mexico not Kentucky

Nobody wants to watch sport jets. Most lame things.
Yet sport jets sell more than scale jet lol
@@WarrenRC6373 it's cause they are easy to fly but just plain ugly. But they fly great.
