Yeah Abby really likes him. I mean as much as she liked Maddie and Kalani she still had feedback for them, or they wouldn't have improved. Abby has always said he likes her boys to be masculine so I think she would like to bring that into him
My question is why doesn't she talk to her own dancers like this? The only reason I watch her show is to see the dancers at the end perform. I find it painful to watch what leads up to that. I personally do not like her as a coach, but here she shows a side I wish she would bring back home.
Because there wouldn't be any drama and that would mean no TV show. Also she's only seen these kids once and they're out to make a good impression. She doesn't have their moms calling them going "why didn't my kid get a five second part when she's the best dancer on the face of the earth? Why is my kid getting a solo? Why aren't you correcting that kid? Why are there no private spots left? I don;t want lessons with that teacher I want you to make room in your schedule" every day. Along with knowing which kids didn't turn up to classes, which kid didn't practise and which kid keeps forgetting their dance shoes and which kid spent most of class daydreaming in the corner or whining to mom about having too much work.
it's just her teaching methods. she teaches her kids in a strict manner to train them. these aren't her students, she's just correcting them. she's strict on her students because they represent her and she's training them for their future in the dance world.
+Carly Thomas Also, keep in mind that the producers of Dance Moms only show the bits that are most dramatic and tense, because those are the moments the viewers find most interesting. Abby has stated multiple times that the directors of the show only show her yelling at the dancers after she has repeated an instruction so many times it has become frustrating. I am sure she is just as, if not more constructive to her dancers than the ones at Pineapple Studios.
K Lukasiak he’s barefoot and it’s much more difficult to be quiet when your barefoot but it shows a lot more of your technique, and I believe he’s on the second floor of the building.

I think he was trying to fit all his tricks into one routine to show abby what he can do, definitely not the right song choice as too much was going on
She was nit picking about the little things only judges and coaches would see.. Which is brilliant for him because while yes he is amazing, even Abby said that.. there were little things.. Heck she even said she could fix it in an hour session, thats how little the things were
he's an amazing dancer! SO much emotion as well! But I did noticed that when he was doing a turn section, when he was almost done he bobbled and then fell out of it... and he also traveled a lot too. But loved his dance !! So amazing over all !
lulu gibbs He has a shoe on his turning foot so he’s not bare foot. Abby even told him he should have two on because you don’t want to give anything away to the judges that you can only turn on one foot

HE IS BRILLIANT! There's only two things I would change: 1. He was a little bit heavy on his feet, but some people can't help that. 2. He needs a little bit more practice on his turns, he fell out of them, but it was hardly noticeable! Great job! 💙💜
Phenomenal dancer, he has the potential to make it big. The corrections were correct though, some of them were far to feminine, not his fault, his choreographers fault
people are probably going to not agree with me. But all i really see with this is gymnastics, move after move after move. I don't see the emotion, the use of breath, the facial expressions, the tention created by the muscle to bust out with emotion. obviously techinically he is amazing. however techinique isn't what makes a dancer, it's performance.
Did you not watch the huge turn section, gorgeous leaps, and amazing legs? This is not gymnastics, there is gorgeous use of tricks, and it compliments the choreography amazingly. This is a lyrical/contemporary dance with use of acrobatic elements.
Say what you will about Abby, but she knows what she's talking about. She knows how to make a dancer better. I hate how she's portrayed on dance moms; teachers are supposed to make corrections and critiques. Their job is to point out mistakes. It takes a talented teacher to notice some of the detail work that truly makes a great dancer.
I loved that choreography - it was a little on the feminine side like she said, but it went w/ the song perfectly and showed off his tricks and flexibility well. Abby's critiques were very spot on and valuable.
Abby reminds me of Simon Cowell she knows exactly what she’s doing and her critiques are fair which may come across as “rude” but it’s gotten her and her dancers very far so it’s better to listen to her criticisms and correct the mistakes made and it will take their dancing to another level
You might think Abby is being rude but she had a fire in her eyes when he danced. I could see her wanting to steal him for her own studio...

He could be a tiny bit quieter on his feet. But other than that, he's excellent!
