Just bought the AWD Sport L in Black Pearl. Wanted this color but got outvoted. The grey pearl is gorgeous in person. Price is a little high adding awd as an option (close to ST where it’s standard) but the Sport-L has the best look, the most vital features, and the smaller rims which are better for city parking, ride quality, and fuel economy. Great review! I learned some things…
Hi Shakeem! Thanks for the great walkaround video on the 2025 Honda CR-V Sport L Hybrid which came in handy when I just bought my new CR-V this week! Keep up the great work on producing helpful videos like the one I watched!
I’m a bodyman/painter and at first glance I hated this color because yes it looks just like a vehicle out from repair and then primed ready for paint. But when I look closer I found out that it has metallic pearl. thsi goes to show that it’s a tri stage paint job. Not easy to pull off if you use the wrong base coat. Ours is coming in mid November,so excited….
I test drove the Hybrid EX-L about two weeks ago. It was a nice car but to me it’s just not worth $40k. I have always wanted a Lexus but I’ve just never come to bring myself to spend the money. But prices these days are just absurd and I decided that I’m just going to buy the Lexus before I spend $40k on a CRV and so that’s what I did.
@@ShakeemAndCars No. When it comes to luxury brands, I’ve really only wanted a Lexus. I didn’t even look at any others. I ended up getting a 2025 NX350 hybrid. I just wanted a nice, dependable car. My trade in was a 2022 Tucson and I traded that in earlier than I intended because it was such a piece of junk.
This is my exact dilemma! Lexus is my dream car but I have a Honda Civic now and looking for a bigger car. It’s between the Lexus RX 250 and Honda CRV. I can’t see myself spending $40k on a non luxury car.
On the outside, it looks an order of magnitude better. On the inside, not so much. Depends what your preferences and needs are. I’d take the Honda for that size of vehicle personally.
Whats your opinion on the silver vents vs the gloss black i was thinking to get the touring and change the silver to the gloss black thats on the sport hybird.
A great review. I'm a CRV Honda lover, had one since 2003. I like a lighter interior. The dark interior and gray exterior are depressive. Those institutional grays for are causing me to go in another direction because you don't have any other choices.😢
I bought a 2025 Honda crv sport hybrid in August 2024. The driver seat gives a backpain and the headlights are poor ( dim ) when you driver at night. If you are considering to buy this car. test drive it at night. Honda purposely put in low quality seats and worse headlights. One night, I drove it when it rained, I almost get involved in an accident because of the poor headlights and zero visibility. Honda should add fog lights. I don't recommend it to buy. I am thinking to trade it for Palisade.
Keep thinking about this. The Cons are just a bit too much for a 49k vehicle. The stopper today's test drive...loud weird acceleration still bothers and and Terribly fuzzy camera picture. I don't get it
5 serious legitimate questions: 1. What do you do when your Hybrid, with its low profile tires, hits a pothole and the tire's sidewall is split open? 2. Will the spray can of fix-a-flat (supplied with all CRv Hybrids) fix the tire? 3. How do you get the CRv to the local Dealer to replace the tire? 4. Does the local Dealer sell replacement tires? 5. Is that tow truck fee going to be reimbursed by the local Dealer or by Honda Corp.?
For a blow-out, you’ll have to call roadside assistance. I don’t believe Honda will cover a tire for you. Unless you purchase a warranty that covers that.
I understand your concern for spare tire. It's a bummer for many people including me. Really stupid not having a spare at this price. They should fit it some where in the back.
@@ShakeemAndCars Yea I know, they have to change the battery placement then. Toyota is providing spare tires because they keep the battery somewhere under the back seat.
Depending on your requirements and the size you are looking for Which is more important, getting the best gas mileage or being able to tow? Hybrid or non-hybrid, they are two distinct types of cars.
I just bought this exact vehicle 2 weeks ago. I love it !!!
Good choice!

Congratulations on the purchase!
Best review on YT.
I appreciate it, thank you.
Just FYI, the rear wheels are driven by a driveshaft from the front and not a separate motor. Keep up the nice work!

I would keep it

For light interior you need to look at Lx, ex, ex-l, or sport touring hybrid
I really like your reviews and I buy this soon.
Excellent job, thank you.I'll be much better prepared when I go to test drive.
Glad. I was able to help

49k ? MSRP is currently $40,655
Great walk around-thank you!
Thank you for stopping by
I’m bummed that you can’t get the other interior option (two tone grey interior) with urban gray pearl exterior. Honda - why!?
For grey interior you’ll have to go with a sport touring or a non hybrid crv.

Under the cargo floor is the hybrid battery. No space for a spare

Would you recommend the crv or a passport?

🔥
how about 2025 hrv any changes over 24?
No changes
I like it! Just wish they offered them in a V6 like the Pilots 😣
In this class of vehicles everyone wants something fuel efficient. A V6 CRV wouldn’t make sense.
Is this canada version?
Us version
Why black interior only? My wife says absolutely "no" to any vehicle with a black interior. I guess, I'll check Toyota?
There is a grey interior option for the Sport Touring.
For about 5 thousand dollars extra, yes you can have something other than black.👌🏻😂
Hagan la presentación en español
It kinda looks outdated already!
