@NOBODY Yeah, this is the only thing I don't like about it. I feel it's priced a little too high.
I really love how each generation of electric scooters improves upon the previous, not just with Kaabo but other manufacturers like Nanrobot, Apollo, Voromotors, etc. The first generation wasn't so good and had quality control problems or didn't look good. The third generation of electric scooters have all ditched the small display screen for a larger one in the middle. Hopefully, IPX6 ratings, wheels larger than 10", steering dampeners, turn signals, electric horns become standard.
Next thing you're gonna ask for is a gas engine, handlebar warmers, a collision airbag, and cup holder on an anti-spill gimbal.
Kaabo is hands down my favorite brand of scooters. Can’t wait until the upgraded model of the Wolf King GT comes out. I am currently saving up for whatever it may be.

I own a 2022 model mantis pro SE. Honestly, the biggest changes to me are the folding mechanism and the suspension being adjustable. It looks like those parts could be swapped out with my scooter too, so I could easily get those features on mine.

No kidding, I wish I could do that with my garage, but in TX I think it gets too hot to store anything with a battery.
whoever designed the display, honestly the UI is beautiful....even more so on the GTR with that snake/s mode symbol is bad ass and the accelerator curve design on the display is even better. I can also see where michael sha took inspration from for the klima!
just got mine with 200 miles on it for 1100 usd. love it.

I seriously love how no matter how many scooters a specific manufacturer can push out, they never, EVER get the mudguards right, surprised you guys never touched on how flexible that rear guard was, it's taking km's off that tyre, not to mention, if there is a brake light in it, it's gonna get eaten and cause a short, just like every other scooter.
That's a good eye! They sent this to us with a prototype fender but assured us they would send one with production units that does not slap the rear fender. The one that came with this preproduction model is not rigid enough.
@@Andrew-vt4jt hahah, I have had pretty wonderful scenarios play out thats to floppy fenders on scooters, It always one of the first things I check out when looking at scooters, ever since my first Dragon scooter and my x10 I have a bit more of a higher standard than most I feel.
Glad to hear they mentioned something stronger, its about time we see a change in the guards/fenders front
I got mine with the old fender mounted and the new fender in the box. The new fender design is rock solid.

@@JamiePineappleWyatt I don't see how. The new guard is just a much shorter version of the original. It also hasn't been cut down. It's a new product.
I just got mine from Voromotors, has welded stem, new fender and v2 neck. Impressive performance but the shocks are terrible, I'm 200lbs and im crushing these shocks, I have ordered new 130mm 1500lb replacements.
The control module on the left handlebar works better on the right side, your thumb will thank you. A 130x is a great replacement for the flimsy throttle, you will need to swap the +5v and the sensor wire in the cable for it to work with the Kaabo controller though, gingeronwheels did the swap on his wolf king and explains how to modify the new throttle to work.
In Denmark the mantis King gt is 3000$ on most websites. Luckily i found a guy who sells it for the normal price because He buys it directly from the manufacturer. But i was so shocked after seeing the price on voromotors because them danish websites set the standard prices very High.
Im definetly getting a mantis King or Wolf warrior x gt. Your reviews on these scooters has helped me come further in my decision, so Thank you for the great vids 🙂. Now im just waiting to see when the new Kaabo scooters are releasing, though they might be very expensive.

The X will be nice for the double stems, but you can avoid the wolf suspension, specifically the rear, by going this route and it’s fully customizable / adjustable

Next review remember to talk about maintenance. Does this have easy to change tire with a way to disconnect the motors? If the rotors are 140mm how thick are they and how does this compare? How easy will it be to break that display does it hit anything when you fold. Are the screws soft metal or aluminum. kickstand strength etc. I owned two scooters and both were a complete nightmare to fix especially the kaabo wolf warrior with that stupid front fork.

Funny thing or not so funny thing. Hardest tire I’ve ever had to change was a scooter tire. What a complete PITA So watch out for those skids it could lead to pain and frustration quicker

Good review, however i think that these scooters would benefit from larger wheels say 13" or 14". Larger wheels mean greater stability at high speeds.

Larger tires are definitely safer, but impact the nimbleness of the scooter. It truly depends on what type of riding you are looking to do.
@@Andrew-vt4jt Agreed. Nevertheless, at 35 mph or greater, things happen fast.
There are scooters with larger wheels/tires. You have to decide how portable you want your scooter to be. This scooter does fine up to 35mph. Faster than that and it gets a bit twitchy. That being said I've done pretty long rides where I'm going 40+ without much issue because I'm used to it now. If you want to be going over 40mph consistently I would say to get a larger (100+ pound)scooter.

Scooter is almost perfect. I believe the top speed should be touching near 50mph instead of 43mph

It goes actually 46 on the dot, but I've seen reaching 49 almost 50
Looks to be a cool scooter, but one of my biggest concerns about all the scooters on the market is the throttle sensitivity! it doesn't feel safe and cool when the scooter is kicking so fast...
I completely agree. I tried out a new dual-tron and even setting it in the safest way possible when you're going at slow speeds it just Zips out from under you I think it's actually dangerous in the road
@@merczxc what do you mean every scooter i tried (4-5 models) had a responsive trottle on my kaabo wolf warrior 11+ i can use highest setting max power and ride it with 1 hand at 5 km speed ....
I was under the impression this one has a smooth sine wave controller? I haven't tried the throttle of this scooter, so I wouldn't know, but I was watching this review because apparently one needs to spend $3000 and upwards just to avoid jumpy throttles with trapezoidal wave controllers. I love my new ($1000) scooter, but I am seriously annoyed by the apparent on-off function of the hall type throttle. It seems unnecessary.
So is this one's throttle just as bad?

The way the power settings operate on this scooter you can make it behave as mild as you like. The throttle is only sensitive on setting 4 and 5 in dual motor mode.

We need more solids like the pegasus.. I got over 500 miles on my pegasus and still going strong, only had to adjust breaks. That's it, no flats.... If anyone road tested that bad boy more than me speak up.. 😆 I also off road with my pegasus just fine.

Really like the scooters who adopt ebike displays and thumb throttles. Those generic finger throttles with the boring display are super outdated for 2022
I prefer the throttle on my Wolf Warrior compared to the horrendous thumb throttle on my King GT. The Wolf Warrior is also a better ride imo, it weighs less and handles better and hasn't got the dead zone so acceleration is a lot smoother.
@@originalityisdead.9513 I prefer throttle as well. More accuracy for my use. Also love the instant power/acceleration it provides.
@@jessa.3857 The King GT isn't worth the cash imo. The scooter weighs more so the ride feels considerably worse and the brakes aren't good enough for the scooter because of the extra weight and power and the delay in the throttle makes it dangerous to ride in traffic especially if there's a vehicle in front of you at the lights or on a turn. I'm going to get a motorbike as you get more for your money and you have plenty of options available for customisation.

Then it would not be a Mantis it would be a Wolf.
How do you do that slide in the beginning
All rear brake into the slide. Start slow at first and work on your balance.

The only thing I don't like is the less than top end weight limit.
I noticed they dropped it down. Its probably due to the hydraulic suspension ratings. They look like they could be swapped out for higher rated suspension.

A lot of improvements but ..... 74 lbs? The best feature about the original Mantis was the power-to-weight ratio where you get a pretty powerful AWD scooter at around 60 lbs. The generation revision should be lighter and not heavier .... 😢. Most people ride these types of scooter in the city for commuting purpose, and almost always during the day, in nice weather so there's no need for lights, large screen display and rear fender. Sometime we do lug it on public transportations or carry it on our laps while sitting in the back seats of an Uber ride so the size and weight of the beast are huge issues. As a Mantis (base) rider and fanBoyz, I think Kaabo is heading in the wrong direction with this rev b'cuz it's 23% heavier than the previous generation Mantis. The older beast is already too heavy to lug around, although the new folding mechanism is soooooo nice ...

Hi I want to buy one of these but hear about issues with bolts getting loose and the stem becoming loose. Is the mantis king gt reliable and well built or does it require lots of maintenance?

I don't trust the handle bar stems on ANY of these scooters. As a professional mountain baker I know better, they are not designed sufficiently for even ripping off curbs long-term. To built folding mechanism to them is so stupid.
What kind of extreme sport is "mountain baking"? 😁 I get you though, I'm a big dude & I feel like I'm gonna rip the stems right out when I have to throw my weight around
No one is gonna use an electric scooter as intensively as downhill mountain biking 😂. I have a cheap electric scooter with foldable handlebars and they've held for almost 4000 km of riding with no problems

Great video! I've always wondered, would keeping the LED lights off add to battery life during a ride? Oh wait can you keep them off?
LED lights are very efficient, they barely use any energy compares to those two huge motors rated at 1.1kW so keep the light on for safety sake and run the scooter in FWD mode or slow down to extend your range.

The LEDs only come on with the headlight. You can turn them off in the app so they don't come on with the headlight, but I don't know why you wouldn't want them on at night. You can also adjust them to any color.

Who agrees if mantis models need to have stems like wolf king that be well worth it if mantis didn't come with single stems and so yeah they be well with it price without any single stems and wolf king has way better performance from steering then single stems and most single stems need to be 3x stronger quality instead of having cheap weak quality built and I've always have dream about wanting mantis without single stems and I know some of people loves having front stems like wolf king's

How would you guys compare this to the nami burn e 2 (not max) obv the nami is better but is it $1000 better? These seem pretty close in features and specs with the nami only slightly edging it which makes me feel like the mantis king gt is a phenomenal scooter for the price.
How heavy it is ? Can I fold it and carry it on tube ?
Their website says 27a controller, then 30a controller. Not sure which one is right.
