Why is it that V and Jennie always get tangled in dating rumors?
Early this morning, the two idols just got called out all over social media for another shocking dating rumor, dragging the whole Blink and Army communities into chaos for a picture said to be them sitting together in a car. Accordingly, the two are said to have traveled to Jeju Island together. Netizens quickly erupted into debates about the authenticity of these photos.
Before this, V had also accidentally followed Jennie on Instagram. Two of Jennie’s friends, singer Grimes and model Jung Ho Yeon also followed V on this platform. Moreover, the two idols both chose the first letter of their names: V-J, to describe their profiles, making netizens believe even more in this nonsense rumor.
Regarding the shocking dating rumors between V and Jennie, both YG and HYBE have yet to give an official response. However, others claim that this is a real photo because V is wearing a different outfit, different hairstyle and glasses compared to the scene in the car with J-Hope. And Jennie in fact owns a pair of Gentle Monsters sunglasses like in the picture.
But the question here is: "Why is HYBE so slow in denying this shocking rumor?" Unlike many cases before where HYBE handled things very quickly. Most netizens believe that this company is intentionally spreading fake news to distract netizens from the heating scandal of Le Sserafim’s Kim Garam. And if this is true, HYBE is really using BTS - their most precious treasure - to cover up for a scandalous rookie who has yet to make any achievement.
