    Great review!
I noticed that you're not using the $ sign in front of amounts in pricing in your knowledge document. Will adding the $ sign (example $49,-) help AI to look up the prices?

Advanced Options -> Relevance threshold // try to increase this value to 0.8 so the AI gives more importance to the documents in the knowledge base

I will have to try this!

It’s a huge drawback to having a tool that doesn’t read your knowledge base!! Also some reviewers mentioned that Pickaxe brand/link is not removable?

Whenever I have used it, my tool always reads from my knowledge base. And yes you can white label!

Thanks David! Has Pickaxe addressed the issues with the knowledge?

Great start for an AppSumo deal. Will be interesting to see how it develops over time.
PS: Is this AI for the voice? 🤣Just kidding but it seems to be a trendy question!

You dont have any dollar signs in your pdf for Content Boom pricing. Try adding dollar signs.

It should still be able to read context and words around it.

@@LearnWireRight, but what context though? I paused your video in your knowledge hub and it's really confusing even for me reading it. "Tier two 89, you get 25 sites" "tier 3 is one 49, you get a hundred sites" even a human would struggle with that context. There's no rhyme or reason to the formatting of numbers you're using. "One 49"? Why assume the tool should know you meant $149? Not only are your numbers formatted very strangely, but within the same sentence you're using numbers to indicate a dollar value as well as using numbers to indicate the numbers of websites in volume. Extremely convoluted.

@@nolow_life This is Descript transcription. Ain no way I am writing/transcribing 10k words of text manually. I agree it doesn't make a ton of sense and that's why the app is struggling. but in the video I test other things as well. Very simple things it should be able to understand and answer and it failed at that too.

I feel like I am missing something here... What is different about this than simply creating a custom GPT with openai?

    • @kaashiradnan3557

Building a custom tool on pickaxe allows you to deploy your tools to your own site and also use different ai models, like claude, mistral, or the default chatgpt

Nope you’re not missing anything. It’s basically a pretty way to package custom gpts without directly using ChatGPT. Also, you can create subscriptions and custom websites all in one tool. Besides that it’s the same. That was also my first question, but I do like how much easier it is to deploy them without an extra step like Replit. I’m sure ChatGPT will include this option in a future release, but for now I’d say pickaxe is worth it simply for the all in one capability.

U don’t have $ signs in your docs that it’s reading so it can’t find the pricing for that reason. Easy fix. 25:57

While I agree, it still has issues. I asked it the simple question of "what was the final conclusion of my Google Recovery Test" and it didnt have an answer at all. It said it could not answer that either. I use claude for the same things and it works perfectly and it doesnt need a $. So my point is, pickaxe didnt perform in my testing.

Your knowledge base doesn’t have the actual pricing.
It says 89 but no currency reference in terms of $89 or $149. You need to include the currency when listing prices
