      There's a small airline connection that comes on the pen plax aqua nursery. If you plug into that your air will create an airlift which will suck eggs out of the bottom container into the top one

    Will silicone work to close the gaps in the green box? I don’t want to use hot glue, since I heard it won’t work good under water.
    What about super glue?

    • @sydneysangels
      @sydneysangels  Год назад +1

      Yes I'm pretty confident silicone will work! So far I haven't had any issues with the hot glue, and I was pretty hesitant as well. I would not recommend super glue, it seems to have a pretty hard time bonding plastics together. However it works wonders for anchoring hardscape together or gluing java fern to wood and rocks. I hope that helps!

    Neet! I wish I was handy. I'd do this for my CPD's for sure. I'll have to figure out something else for my shrimp. I'll probably just put the ladies in a basket when they get strongly berried up. Now I've got to figure out what to do about my hillstream loaches. Same goes for my cryptic cories. They're hard to find in the first place, so I want to make sure I'm stocked with them. Maybe if I get overstocked with them, there will be other people who might want a few. It may be that the reason they are in short supply is because t hey aren't in high demand.

    • @sydneysangels

      I bet you could do this! It really wasn't too difficult! I like your idea with shrimp and hillstream loaches, that's clever. I have this hooked up currently where it keeps dropping eggs into the chamber every day and I've got fry hatching out and growing up in there!

    I wouldn't use hot glue, because water just undoes hotglue and makes it pop off. I would have used a small tube of silicone.

      Thanks for the tip! A lot of people actually recommended hot glue on one of my videos so I gave it a shot! I guess time will tell if it works or not.
