just to clarify on the 5th night free on Marriott, it has to be booked with "points" only to get that perk. IF you use the 50k certificate free night award you wont get the 5th night for free.
The free night annually gives me positive value on the Hyatt, I also just got the Marriott Card for the 5 free night and I will probably keep it long term for the 1 free night annually as well. Both cards is the right answer
Agreed. As I said, I’m deff going to get the Hyatt card eventually. But for someone who didn’t have either, i think the Marriott card is better right now because of sign up bonus
No offense but how did you miss out on the fact that you get 2x points on everything with the Marriott card? No other hotel card gives you two X points every dollar per spend
I'm leaning towards Marriot because there are more properties. I'm in the military and have a family so my redemptions are economy focused. I'll make my way to Hyatt eventually.

Boundless is also upgraded to Ritz Carlton card if you want to move up. No upgrade options for Hyatt.
100%. I deff want to get that card later

So true, thanks for bringing that up!
The Hilton gives 3x point at minimum, but the value of a Hilton point isn’t great, especially compared to Hyatt.
Great Information ....
So nice of you
