I can't believe the woman at the cathedral was so rude! You should visit the tower too ( the entry next door), the staircase is killer, but amazing. Just missed the old synagogue and the Museum (in Art Nouveau style). Not far from the main square is also the old brewery, where you can visit the underground of this part of the city. And there is more, do not hesitate to visit!
Kristíno, the staircase may be a killer for somebody but a few years ago, a famous climate skeptic (then 78) visited me here and his wife (82) went to the observatory of the Bartholomew and she ran those 300 stairs as if it were nothing. He stayed in front of the church and waited for us LOL.

I was planning to visit Czech Republic but didn't have idea where to go, this is such a beautiful place to visit! Defo on my bucket list!
