Blender Geek theory here, but you can assign shapekeys to the face, tethered to an armature bone, binded to the camera and make the degree deficit of the figure and camera to determine what keyshape is used with animation nodes to distort the face for that effect. With interpolation, you'd only need maybe 25 (5x5 face angle references views) to make a full 3d loadout of front to 3/4 view facial deformation from every dutch angle, that dynamically changes on its own on the fly at any angle between the keyframes based on camera position. With proper balance that approach allows lip flapping and blinking and expressions all dynamically keyed to those deformations. Sure your resculpting the face 24 times per model, but to dynamically shift between all references to get the achieved look at any angle within those bounds makes it worth the extra work. Its basically a 3d render approach similar to the animation style used in motorcity's animations.

That's exactly how it works by the way. ENGAGE in the stuff you want more of. If it annoys you, DO NOT comment or even dislike etc.
So if you find something you want more of, watch it, like it, share it, comment on it and most underratedly, search for it manually by typing it in the search bar.
That's why everyone thinks everyone else is a sheep.. Everyone creating their own bubble without realizing it. And suddenly everyone else is crazy but them..

More like the other squished eye would move down. Having the closer one move down actually hurts the perspective of the face by misaligning the eyes with the jaw

no not really, they didn't do what FighterZ did, they just draw the faces and details on top of the 3D model to make it look accurate

I liked the kakarot models and sparking zero looks fine enough, especially considering they're not doing split screen outside HTC that lacks destructible areas.
