Hey bud just wanted to stop by and let you know you have become my favorite diablo 4 content channel on RUclips. The logic and the way you explain stuff really speaks to me. Keep up the great work
Have to agree. Even when I think you are wrong, it turns out you are right. I thought this build could benefit from wither paragon board but after hearing that some of the wither board is bugged (damage-over-time doesn't seem to increase?) I am going back to your board set up
So there's a misconception that damage over time doesnt increase Blighted Corpse Explosion modifier, this is wrong and it's just a tooltip issue. Devs are aware. Can confirm that Damage over time increases CE damage with the Blighted modifier. For this build, modifying Mendeln damage is our biggest priority by roughly 60-80% of our total damage output.@@joshmoore5394
Also I would like to mention that All stats / Dexterity on helmet and boots are quite helpful to reach certain Dexterity thresholds in the Paragon board.
Shadowblight is still the biggest mystery to me, I never know when the explosion actually happens and how useful it is. Is there maybe a video that focuses on explaining that? I'm always suspicious that my fights are already over before it stacks, but I often hear it does "a lot of damage" 🤔
shadowblight is ur biggest damage ! its every 2 seconds , scales off main hand damage, and shadow damage! The big crits u see , is it stacking multiple times and also giving u 100+% dmg after 10 applications. Any shadow dmg gives shadowblight stacks!
agreed. it lacks the “oomph” of what an actual hit does. I guess its not that hard to at least add a sound or a tiny explosion upon the shadowblight so we know when and how big it hits
For minion survivability, the aspect that gives you X Health per close enemy has been a game changer. I’d recommend keeping a separate armor piece for it on most encounters & then just swapping a Damage Reduction Aspect piece if/when you’re struggling to survive through through burst damage. It works particularly well in dense mob areas, so my guess is that the amount healed per close enemy is reduced… but the healing cap/second for minions doesn’t get reduced at all.
Doubt you'll see this but if I'm not using hearts and need to apply Decrep manually, any suggestions? Drop the golem or drop reap? Can I produce enough corpses to stay high damage and max cool down?
You should be using bone prison with this since the 4 parts of the walls counts as minions, also get the aspect that puts blight in the center of bone prison, don't use the howls from below, with this you will be hitting bosses for hundreds of millions of dmg.
Yeah it's pretty understandable that someone wouldn't want to use bone prison right now. I'm using it but I want to transition to something without it right now until they fix it at least.
The thorns from mendeln causes bone prison to do 1 damage. Since bone prison is counted as a minion, when the wall takes damage from the target it does a mendeln attack. This mendeln damage is AOE. So each enemy that hits the wall damages themselves and everyone else inside. This is the reason why it looks like a ton of damage when you group with corpse tendrils and drop bone prison. Take everything off and just wear mendeln. You will see Bone prison 1 dmg. Take mendeln off. 0 damage. Add 1 point to thorns skill, 1 damage. If you want the bone prison to consistently wreck, increase it's life by leveling it up. Shorter CD as well. Another artifact of bone prison being a minion is that death speaker's amulet causes blood surge to echo around the bone prison. TTFN!
This build is what I am currently working towards, glad to see you cover it in detail. I started the season on Sever, swapped to Infinimist in WT3 and now that I'm comfortably doing Mid NMDs I want to play around with Mendeln for a bit. Seems like a decent way to boost boss damage on infinimist given every build is building towards LHC for decrep and stacking standard stats for Barber anyway.
are you me? that's the exact progression I went through - best build w/ codex aspects -> best build for zooming through nmds -> funniest build to take on endgame
What is it about terror that makes it a trap? I have it with +3 ranks on amulet and it seems to make a noticable difference. It reads like with its requirements met it has the highest possible damage bonus from a passive for shadow necro .
My guess is that it does nothing against bosses before they are staggered and you don't need any help with general clear. It'll be interesting if I am missing something else though
Couple questions about this build! If the focus for build damage is Mendeln, why max out Corpse Explosion? In testing Corpse Explosion is ok but all the major damage is coming from the ring and corpse explosion just feels like the channel to proc it. Having rare gloves with a nice roll gets you another aspect. Why put points into Necrotic Carapace in the skill tree and points in the Fortify node on the Paragon Board? It feels a bit slow to gain Fortify here, and the vast majority of your def is coming from Blood Mist and Shielding Storm - the points in Fortify feel wasted to me. Other than this...i like this build if Bone Prison gets fixed/changed. Playing with Bone Prison sky rockets your damage output over this though. Edit: i prefer taking the points out of carapace on the skill tree and keeping corpse explosion at 3 points (skill + blighted). Max out Blood Mist for the quicker CD. Max Reapers Pursuit. Max Deaths Embrace. Exploit Glyph on Bone Graft board. Take off Howl from Below and add Blood Getters for the two extra warriors. Just my opinion of course 😊
@@MacroBioBoi I'm not following...so it's not Infinimist if you don't take max Corpse Explosion and Necrotic Carapace? Isn't it about maximizing your time in Blood Mist? You only need 5 points in Blood Mist (your build also doesn't have this), Abbhorant Decrepify, and Explosive Mist aspect. Shifting the main focus of the damage to Mendeln from Corpse Explosion doesn't change the "Infinimist" part of the build, does it? Not trying to be a dick of anything at all, just feel like it plays genuinely better with some tweaks.
there is actually no need to stack so much lucky hit chance, def stats like total armor and max health are way more useful if you are looking at farming T100 comfortably, you will want 15-18k health
@@MacroBioBoiall the lucky hits you have on helm, amulet, rings and offhands, i would recommend getting def stats or ranks to skills for helmet and amulet. There are much better choices over lucky hit from my experience, 35-40% gd enough. Def stats i meant are life, armor and your bunch of different types of DR
@@AlexTeoBut I have Maximum Life and Armor on the helmet, there are not "more" defensive options there. Other than Ranks to Decrepify I guess? But that's just not valuable compared to the Lucky Hit. Rings could be Maximum Life but is just not necessary. The Amulet I show is mostly Defensive stats.
For helmet yeah you could get lucky hit if you didnt have good rolls on your glove and ring of mendeln, but for your other ring i would even rather take minion life especially when you only run with 9 minions. Having 15-18k life is necessary if you dont want to die from corpse bow or poison bees and comfortably farm T100 without the need to wait for bloodmist to off cd before engaging. If you are free you can test out the aspect whereby consuming a corpse 30% chance to generate blood orbs, and reduce 1.5s of your ulti with blooddrinker glyph. This way when you are bloodmisting, you heal your minions, reducing your ulti cd and fortified yourself by a ton
I see that you value minion attack speed but still there is no Aspect of Frenzied Dead in this build. Is there no room for it or is it just not good enough compared to other aspect ?
ty for this! i saved gear for this build to use when i started getting bored of bone spear and it finally happened. this guide was a great jumping off point as i tweaked it a bit to my liking but mostly following it/using bone prison and a couple swaps for uber lilith. what do you think about blood-soaked instead of ultimate shadow? to me it seemed like the obvious choice: retain movespeed, faster clear, keep up with mobs that run away from u and keep the shadow damage ticking underneath them to proc shadowblight, but i'm not sure if i like it more or not yet. without it im still clearing a dungeon as fast more or less, since im running mistless to the next pack/objective without bloodsoaked, but im not sure if bone storm procs shadowblight *so much* more often that it's no question better, or if it comes down to preference. bone storm of course has the b ig radius where the trail is something u gotta really circle around the mobs to get underneath all of them but by removing the movespeed penalty this isn't a big task. not sure yet.
Ultimate Shadow might be the most important aspect for the build for overall damage output tbh. Procs shadowblight, does massive damage AoE DoT procs for lucky hit. No question, it's a required aspect
@@MacroBioBoi blood soaked does all these things aside from massive aoe damage but i do not feel that ultimate shadow or bone storm's damage is particularly massive to begin with (tho certainly much greater than piddly little dmg from bloodmist lol) but ultimately its just proccing shadowblight for me, the minions are wrecking everything else. with 75% move speed on evade and 40 movespeed on killing an elite i have found today that blood soaked feels a lot better to me since i am always in mist, being able to move at my characters typical speed makes things a LOT faster and i proc shadowblight just as much, i just have to make sure i am positioned right on target in order to place the shadow trail in the right area, where as bone storm is just a big wall around you hitting everything. definitely takes more maneuvering but the speed at which i do nm dungeons makes it worth it, so far
@@coomsicle blood soaked applies shadow damage a few times while you are in blood mist. It doesn't apply a Darkness skill, it doesn't scale with your damage multipliers. It slightly increases your Shadowblight procs. It's not comparable to ultimate Shadow on Bone Storm. With US, BS ends up proccing shadow damage 4 times per second, double the rate of blood soaked.
Love your videos as always ... question though, or more of a statement. Why would you NOT be using bone prison? It amplifies any sort of minion build tremendously when cast with its lucky hit proc and stoopid dmg . if your gonna use minions, bone prison is a MUST. I completely out dmg this build and survivability and im 2 levels lower than you in the video. I also use 3 completely different glyphs as well. you dont need all that defense when the point of the build is to stay in blood mist form nearly 100% of the time and minions survive just fine without so much points into minion health. you can sue the blood orb passive , 1 point in it to keep minions topped off with health from blood orbs and thats all the survivability they need. Also, yu want PHYSICAL dmg as well as thats the vast majority of dmg that the ring scales off of.
Hes not using it bc he thinks it's a bug. And doesn't want it getting nerfd for those of us that do use it. Btw the free corpse from the passive is insane with prison. Auto pulls the entire room into prison which gets 1 shot instantly then u can cast it again as needed to keep clearing the room as long as u keep the corpses there u can always just easily tap prison to re summon it. Very fun interaction honestly the most fun I've had since playing the broken af druid
He’s probably not using it because he dont like it. Thats why im not using it. Also I dont think he generates any blood orbs to be able to use that passive
Thanks (as always) for this really comprehensive build guide. Is there a variant of Infinimist that can deal with Uber Lilith? Could / would you make a video about viable Lilith builds that aren't bone spear? I'm generally having a lot of fun playing your "regular" Infinimist build but can't survive Lilith. Thanks a lot in advance :).
@@michaelriga6431 Thanks for the reply :). Macro's Infinimist beats the Butcher quite easily (30-40 levels higher). The issue I'm having with Lilith is cooldown :). She just one-shots me immediately after I come out of Blood Mist. I'm doing damage to her but can't survive...
They specifically say on icy and other sites that infini is a nm clearer but unable to kill Uber. Her movement and mechanics negate the build’s strengths. Bone spear or mendeln are your best options for necro at moment. I had a version similar to this vid with mendeln that can wipe her with one damage burst each phase (but it’s heavily based on lucky hit and crit). I’m sure it’s possible with enough skill and patience, but I didn’t have it 😂
I'm running a very similar build specifically for Uber lilith. For phase 1 my amulet has 3 macabre, 3 amp damage; for phase 2 I put an ammy with move speed. Have 11 ranks of mist to reduce cool down, and the aspect where mist triggers explosions. I almost got her quite a few times, but at the very end she freaks out and starts spamming her clones, and I freak out and die lol
1) how is terror a trap? I guess it really only works for shadow mages and nothing else? 2) any specific reason you run topaz gems on armor vs ruby or sapphire?
just reached lv100 with mendeln necro last night. Cleared T100 on 1st attempt. Was late, planned to sleep but thought of trying uber lilith first. Didn't use any elixir as i wanted to save it for the morning when i woke up fresh. It was easier than thought and i cleared uber lilith in less than 10 attempts... without elixir
Why do u think terror is a trap? I have the same build but I have 3 in2 terror and I dont have 3 into the corpse fortify 1. I also maxed blood mist and didn't max corpse explosion.
You just read my mind, pal. I'm transitioning from infinimist to shadow summoner (I just wanted a build with minions), and noticing the differences I was planning somewhere in between both builds. This is the halfway point, I don't have Mendeln yet so I'll stick with my hybrid build until I get one. Until the next mind reading!
For that caged heart that has each minion drain your essence but gives them more damage, does that work all the time or only when you have the essence to be drained?
Thanks for the build! Could you expand on why Terror is a trap, and why keep aspect of Ultimate Shadow over Blood-soaked? I'm a little uncertain on how to value/rank the aspects when trying to fit in uniques like Lidless/Howl/Mendeln.
I have the same question about Terror. It's the best passive (n x1.09 x1.09) to clean non-boss mobs IMO. Although on an amulet, gloom or fueled by death is better. The bone storm without ultimate shadow cannot proc shadowblight. If you are not equping ulti shadow then the bone storm does no damage.
@@cloVerSolo Terror should apply both multipliers during boss stagger phase as well. I get the function of ult shadow, but those are tiny darkness hits are just to proc shadowblight. How can you determine if ult shadow gives you more procs than blood-soaked, which prob has more uptime but less AoE? Maybe simply a feeling and experience thing.
Gloom is an 18% multiplier of Shadow Damage. Terror is a conditional multiplier of 18% if you apply Slow and Stun to a target to Darkness Skills Damage. I'm not even convinced Shadowblight is considered a Darkness Skills, since it doesn't have that tag on it.
Sorry for the dumb question about The Great Feast: if I don’t have enough essence to feed my 11 minions at the same time of X essence, will all of them still do the additional damage ? Example If I have just 5 essence, so I can just ‘feed’ 3 of them, will just these 3 minions do the increase damage of x% ? Or all of them ? Just wandering if I should worry of essence regeneration if I equip this Great Feast Heart.
Hello @macroboiboi is there any way you could update this build in a video to maxroll build?. I find I use this build very differently compared to the way its meant to be played. Seeing that essence is perma drained(gear not fully refined). I storm into a group with Blood mist, once corps Tendrils procs CC, I command Golem, buff skeletons use my active tendrills , spam explosion until if I am lucky enough to cast Decripify. It actually feels Decripfiy as an active skill feels like a waste seeing that essence is a massive problem. Reap not sure why we level it to the 3rd slot if its inactive.
You can use this build even without the ring ! Lidless wall helps but , infinimist/bonestorm/boneprison/corpse explode/tendrils /blight(filler spell, can use golem or skellies if u want) for extra shadowblight procs works by itself too!
@@cloVerSolo He's not wrong, though. You can run this build as a pseudo-Infinimist build until the ring drops. Will save you a lot of headache respec'ing later on. Yeah, Barber + Mendeln is the secret sauce that makes the build pop, but you don't need either to make the build work. Infinimist works. Summoner works. Combining both works. Adding Barber + Mendeln turns it up to 11.
What do you think of Bone Prison? I noticed that I never want to use any Basic / Core skill with this build whatsoever (also level 94 like you). So there would be space to add Bone Prison to abuse its (bugged) interaction with Mendeln...
I tried using decompose because of the high lucky hit chance but it just didn't seem to proc Mendeln at all. Idk if since it's a channeled skill if lucky hit is calculating on first cast and then if it doesn't lucky hit you'll never proc it. I messed around for quite a few minutes and just couldn't get it to work. I've had best luck with bone splinters for the extra crit and multiple projectiles
Viscous vs Blood Getter? +2 Mage vs +2 Warrior. I take it the additional corpses from +2 Reapers is worth more than the extra shadow damage hits from the Shadow Mages?
@@MacroBioBoi Managed to find both aspects shortly after posting that, and after running a bunch of dungeons, I agree. They tend to die slightly more often than the Mages due to melee range, but they give a bunch more corpses to play with, so not only do they pay for themselves, they also give you more Mendeln procs. Felt much better during boss fights. For those running the Bone Prison variant, you'd probably want to stick to additional Mages. I found that Bone Prison blocked most of my Reapers from hitting the target, unless I trapped them in there, Rorschach style.
Maybe I'm an idiot, but I'm not sure why you would use the Shielding Storm aspect on this build, when not using Lidless Wall? Even with cd reduction, you still won't have even close to 100% uptime on Bone Storm. Could you explain?
If it only granted barrier for 5 seconds you would still use this aspect, that's how strong it is to have scaling barrier generation in dangerous dungeon scenarios, on demand.
@@MacroBioBoi Ok, so I just tried this - WITH Lidless Wall with a mediocre roll (15% (5-25)). When the barrier is up, it's pretty much all my life (4.900 at lvl 72), but it degrades VERY quickly and then I have to wait for Bone Storm cooldown before it's useful again (in case not running LW). So yeah, it's good but only used situationally, like an "oh shit" button. Which to be fair is what your initial comment pointed out.
I am level 75 atm running the Shadow Summoner, is it a bad idea to switch to this build? Do I need to be highter level to have my glpyhs leveled and more paragon points?
That's how I felt. Level 78 and no ring. Then I switched to Blood Lance, and the ring dropped in my first dungeon. Good shit. At least switching builds is an efficient and cheap experience...
Im lvl 75 necro in eternal and lvl 88 in S1 ring dropped for me today in a NMd just gotta keep going unfortunately since we have no way to target farm in this game for rings.
The only thing that I am doing different is that I have stayed with Blight with pulling to engage at distance and use terror. I loose the 2 extra minions...
after hitting 100 on infinimist i had huge survivibility problems in both nm 100 and uber lilith, so i hope this build can fix that a bit :D@@MacroBioBoi
aspect of decay vs blighted aspect I’m a shadow build and have a Mendel ring. But I only have 1 more slot. Main weapon i use black river. If you could only pick 1 which one would you pick for a shadow minion build. Thanks :). Great content keep it up
Blighted Aspect >>>>> Aspect of Decay. Aspect of Decay works mostly for Shadowmancer builds where you have a ton of instances of Shadow damage that procs Shadowblight, so Shadowblight gets a considerable amount of damage increase when your damage ramps up with DOTs, but Blighted Aspect just increases your overall damage when it procs. Mandeln gets huge increase from Blighted aspect, while it gets nothing from Aspect of Decay, and in Mandeln builds most of your damage comes from it.
Have almost the same question on my mind as well, been thinking to drop the aspect of grasping veins over decay? Should i go for it? Or shud i drop decay instead? Thanks
Infinimist has the best survivability but corpse generating issue with single target. I believe the skeleton reapers can solve the issue and in this build only trading off 2 aspects for mobility. I still prefer using a shield in HC and I think I would replace the tendrils aspect but keep the barber. BTW your shadow boards look much better now. Cult leader and deadraiser combo can be the 3rd best board for a shadow necro after scent of death and flesh-eater, glad to have a try. A shield is so perfect when you relying on shadowblight or blood builds. It does have thorn as well to solve the concerns about abhorrent decrepify.
@@mikegovednik1523 hi, mines are CDR, lucky hit, max health, cri chance or more lucky hit when barriered. For sure CDR and Lky hit are the based stats. Because the shields always bonus 80% damage, it's so easy to find one with lower item level(725+) still having ideal stats and only loses a bit thorn value that doesn't matter. On the other hand, once everything has been optimized to perfection as a result of bloodmist 100% coverage, can switch to a focus for more damage output and CDR but so dependent on its item level. If lucky enough to find one, can gain 11% more base damage(from 180% to 200% ideally). But losing max health stat and thorn damage, then have to find a new source of the thorn.
@akatsuki992 thank you! I'm still a d4 noob and shield makes me feel better on hc. I have a 810 shield upgraded and the boosts are nice but damn I would enjoy having cdr lucky and life. Just don't think I'll ever be comfortable without a shield haha
@@mikegovednik1523 Another reason for focus is the offensive aspects are so good for infinimist. But when equipping a shield, we have 2 slots for defensive aspects of which disobedience and bone storm barrier are the must have ones. Then can go 3rd defensive one like basic attack 20DR or switch a piece to a utility aspect.
After some hours playing, I suddenly realized the purpose of new build is how to trigger mendeln most effeciently and keep the army alive. Would try blood lance with temerity and mendeln. Tested GREAT FEAST heart, it's a thing now, much smoothier for infinimist and blood surge while barger is better for bone spear and blood lance (those nuke skills like twisted blade).
Just want to say amazing build! Dont know why Bone spear gets S tier and this is on lower A tier. I understand how quick bone spear clears and one shots everything. From lvl 50 to 100 you are going to spend 90% of your time on high tier nightmare sigils or at least should to enjoy the game. I was running 70/80s with Bone spear fully refined gear one shotting everything but all you need is a single elite with suppresser / teleport mobs and affixes and there nothing you can do to avoid repeated death running bone spear. If you coop with someone bone spear is frustrating when affixes go off out of screen awaiting your demise. Bone spear lacks serious survivability your only advantage is your damage and the space between you and the enemy, Its far too situational for S tier. Bone Spear also demands a single play style, anything forcing you from deviating from that playstyle consequences in death. This Infimist mendeln variant has the damage and you can opt for different player style approaches to a problem, sometimes you can even range attack by just sending in corpses bombs and more more dense a mobs is the better. Great work on this build and research for minions.
Any plans to make a minion + golem damage build without ring of mendeln? So you know, your percentage of subscribers is very good to compared to when I hear other tubers share their statistics
@@MacroBioBoi now that the Great Feast is multiplicative rather than additive, does this mean us dead raisers can stop using the oh-so-meta-barber? Thanks for the responses btw, your knowledge on all this invaluable! 🙏
@@Ligh7BulbGreat questions, I think the short answer is no, since scaling your minions damage is generally weak, but IF you want to go that route, then it is the best option for doing so. Just remember, it will not scale Mendeln proc damage at all so you're going to lose a LOT of damage.
Mac, in the link you have redundant willpower node in scent of death boards. Secondly i know cult oeader isnt the best node to get, but you can get ito the sedired rare node with 14 points instead of 15 comming from bloodbath. You realoy value the gates that high.? Well that might be right ofc. And i dont like 3 exits at the flesh eater board dmg to injured kinda sux and the second exit is 7 points. There must be better way to do it Keep up the great work
Your focus should be Quinns eye. Perfect roll will net 11 LHC base. Then roll another Stat to double stack LHC. When upgraded, you get 25.5% LHC at all times.
I was half awake and misread. 😂 My Bad. I am really curious why don't you run bone prison for dropping houses instead of reap? I've had tromendous success with this opening.; Corpse explosion to 5, raise skeleton, bone prison, bone storm, blood mist. When i was working on getting Lillith achievement there was a weird issue with raise skeleton and bone prison. When you cast raise skeleton then hit bone prison while the priest animation is happening, it dumps a ton of damage into the target. Not sure if this was just tin foil, but seemed too consistent to be a fluke. Also, did a test with bone prison and death's speaker. The death speakers causes an echo to go around each segment of the prison as the segments are considered minions by the game. How useful that is for a blood build I don't know. But intriguing none the less.
since we do not need the damage from mastery isin't it just stupid to take mastery since death's deffense makes our minions not able to take more than 30% hp in a attack so they won't be able to die from less than 4 hits no matter what i know i run 100's at 91 with 0 minion deffensives tho i do take transfusion just to heal my minions, fron blood orbs
Sadly u can't farm the ring u just have to run em til it drops for u.. I've got a lvl 75 necro on eternal and lvl 88 necro in S1 and the ring just dropped for me yesterday on my lvl 88 necro... Ive gotten everything to drop for me in this game now other then the lidless wall and the other uber uniques that i will never see lol.
@subzero308 it just crazy I have both my necros past 90 and I have had 30 mothers embrace drop this season and 23 of the blood amulet but not one single ring of Mendeln there is something that is effecting the drop rates for different players and I would love to know what it is and how to works so that people can target farm the items they want. Because getting 30 uniques in the exact base for the item and not have one roll seems broken and almost 60 uniques in the specific pools for that unique and not seen one is getting into Uber rare territory. So what ever the devs have done to make certain stuff rarer than other for different characters is working but is annoying and needs to be adjusted
This is what I've been running except for Howl From Below, but I got fist of fate yesterday and gave it a shot It's okay but I think I'm going to go with Howl from below I do need to put shielding storm on my build though Without it I haven't had too much problem with survivability but this probably would help Level 83
Can somebody build a freezing necro? There’s so many freezing necro uniques and NOBODY IS USING THEM! From gloves to boots to scythes. somebody has to be able to figure this out. 🧐
It's just bad. That's the reality. There's actually no frozen synergy, it's just another CC which the class already has a ton of. And the scythe is trash.

What skill would you swap out for decrepify on eternal realm?
You should be using bone prison with this since the 4 parts of the walls counts as minions, also get the aspect that puts blight in the center of bone prison, don't use the howls from below, with this you will be hitting bosses for hundreds of millions of dmg.
I think he is trying to make a future proof build since we all know the bone prison should not proc the ring
No point in designing a build that is based on a known bug.
TTFN!
@@GrimsBarso does increasing thorns increase that damage overall?
This build is what I am currently working towards, glad to see you cover it in detail. I started the season on Sever, swapped to Infinimist in WT3 and now that I'm comfortably doing Mid NMDs I want to play around with Mendeln for a bit. Seems like a decent way to boost boss damage on infinimist given every build is building towards LHC for decrep and stacking standard stats for Barber anyway.
It's a natural fit. Was interesting figuring out how to factor in the skellies.
are you me? that's the exact progression I went through - best build w/ codex aspects -> best build for zooming through nmds -> funniest build to take on endgame
What is it about terror that makes it a trap? I have it with +3 ranks on amulet and it seems to make a noticable difference. It reads like with its requirements met it has the highest possible damage bonus from a passive for shadow necro .
Wondering that as well.
Same
My guess is that it does nothing against bosses before they are staggered and you don't need any help with general clear. It'll be interesting if I am missing something else though
Works with barber?
@meeqsb3521 yea everything scales barber anyhow.
The focus of this build is infinimist while adding Mendeln for single target damage.
Here we go again...
I haven't even finished the video and I'm already checking if I can afford the respec.
there is actually no need to stack so much lucky hit chance, def stats like total armor and max health are way more useful if you are looking at farming T100 comfortably, you will want 15-18k health
Where am I sacrificing max life or armor for lucky hit?
@@MacroBioBoiFacts 😂
Wow max rolls on everything .. what the hell!? Nice man!
Those are pictures of the ideal gear for reference.
ty for this! i saved gear for this build to use when i started getting bored of bone spear and it finally happened. this guide was a great jumping off point as i tweaked it a bit to my liking but mostly following it/using bone prison and a couple swaps for uber lilith. what do you think about blood-soaked instead of ultimate shadow? to me it seemed like the obvious choice: retain movespeed, faster clear, keep up with mobs that run away from u and keep the shadow damage ticking underneath them to proc shadowblight, but i'm not sure if i like it more or not yet. without it im still clearing a dungeon as fast more or less, since im running mistless to the next pack/objective without bloodsoaked, but im not sure if bone storm procs shadowblight *so much* more often that it's no question better, or if it comes down to preference. bone storm of course has the b ig radius where the trail is something u gotta really circle around the mobs to get underneath all of them but by removing the movespeed penalty this isn't a big task. not sure yet.
What do you replace to fit it in and how are you getting damage out of it?
Hes not using it bc he thinks it's a bug. And doesn't want it getting nerfd for those of us that do use it. Btw the free corpse from the passive is insane with prison. Auto pulls the entire room into prison which gets 1 shot instantly then u can cast it again as needed to keep clearing the room as long as u keep the corpses there u can always just easily tap prison to re summon it. Very fun interaction honestly the most fun I've had since playing the broken af druid
@@Zombgetsu Thank you, I was able to go find the bug and yeah, that is a stupid interaction for sure.
He’s probably not using it because he dont like it. Thats why im not using it. Also I dont think he generates any blood orbs to be able to use that passive
I don't want my builds to rely on bugs so when they inevitably get fixed, the viewerbase who didn't know ends up getting screwed.
Icy Veins has this build going for a while, they have it a lot better, and works well. I can kill the Butcher 10 levels higher than me.
YOU ARE NUMBER ONE NECRO KING I ONLY FOLLOW YOUR BUILDS THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
ALSO THE NEW PERFECT ITEM EXAMPLE IS FIRE
1) how is terror a trap? I guess it really only works for shadow mages and nothing else?
2) any specific reason you run topaz gems on armor vs ruby or sapphire?
just reached lv100 with mendeln necro last night. Cleared T100 on 1st attempt. Was late, planned to sleep but thought of trying uber lilith first. Didn't use any elixir as i wanted to save it for the morning when i woke up fresh. It was easier than thought and i cleared uber lilith in less than 10 attempts... without elixir
can you share your build and gear? i wanna do the same :D
@@zeil2ify almost the same as the video, but i used bone prison instead of reap
GG!
If I'm still trying to farm a good roll of the seasonal aspect of decay, what's better in the meantime: frenzied dead, or blood-soaked?
Why do u think terror is a trap? I have the same build but I have 3 in2 terror and I dont have 3 into the corpse fortify 1. I also maxed blood mist and didn't max corpse explosion.
why essence gain on frost mages btw? this build doesn't use any essence requiring skills
Thanks again man, great build sir.
Hey, do you have a video testing everything that works with Meldeln?
No, it currently is understood that it's. Physical damage source that scales off Necro.
@@MacroBioBoi i see. But also necro 100% crit damage and vulnerable damage?
Crit chance I believe they only get 30%.
I'm looking at your maxroll updated guide and I've noticed some changes. What's the max dungeon this can reasonably do?
Ok i see in your twitch stream its 97 so 100 basically... does Howl have a lucky hit chance? And is it Darkness or Shadow?
Howl just modifies your corpse explosion
Nice build, looks better than I came up with.
What is the reason for reap over decompose as a basic?
Decompose says stand still and hits one target. That's no bueno.
For that caged heart that has each minion drain your essence but gives them more damage, does that work all the time or only when you have the essence to be drained?
All the time
Thanks for the build!
Ultimate Shadow makes bone storm deal shadow damage AND apply a shadow dot.
@@MacroBioBoi huh, never considered that about shadowblight. Thanks for the reply.
You don't need essence to feed them.
@@MacroBioBoi thank YOU!
It's updated on the shadow summoner guide, check the Mendeln Variant
will look thanks, managed to get the build to work :)
@@MacroBioBoi aahhh thanks so much, was feeling a bit "lackluster" thank you so much and great work
I'm new here so forgive me if I sound naive but, how TF did you get max rolls on every affix?
Those are pictures of the ideal item stats. People get confused when I show them my imperfect gear, and why it's different than what I recommend.
You can use this build even without the ring ! Lidless wall helps but , infinimist/bonestorm/boneprison/corpse explode/tendrils /blight(filler spell, can use golem or skellies if u want) for extra shadowblight procs works by itself too!
Totally a different build that BioBoi mentioned in the past. Stand alone but with golem.
@@cloVerSolo I dont use the golem its kind of a waste!
@@Mazra42 ok. Mandeln + baber is truly the break point a player would be willing to build around.
What do you think of Bone Prison? I noticed that I never want to use any Basic / Core skill with this build whatsoever (also level 94 like you). So there would be space to add Bone Prison to abuse its (bugged) interaction with Mendeln...
Who said this was a bug?? Y'all r just sayin nonsense lol
I've never seen a build relying on corpses using decompose + rotting aspect. Would it better than reap ?
I tried using decompose because of the high lucky hit chance but it just didn't seem to proc Mendeln at all. Idk if since it's a channeled skill if lucky hit is calculating on first cast and then if it doesn't lucky hit you'll never proc it. I messed around for quite a few minutes and just couldn't get it to work. I've had best luck with bone splinters for the extra crit and multiple projectiles
What is your opinion... is this better than the Blood Artisans Cuirass build you made?
Most definitely
Nice.... This slaps even more :) I have just found uniques and aspects to make this on or the other. Was really hard time deciding which way to go.
Question. Why we not use the wither borad in paragon?😢
It doesn't increase Mendeln damage
@MacroBioBoi I'm still trying to understand the shadow damage and then that ring is physical
@@MacroBioBoi I totally wish I could get in a one on one chat with you
Viscous vs Blood Getter? +2 Mage vs +2 Warrior. I take it the additional corpses from +2 Reapers is worth more than the extra shadow damage hits from the Shadow Mages?
Imo yes
@@MacroBioBoi Managed to find both aspects shortly after posting that, and after running a bunch of dungeons, I agree. They tend to die slightly more often than the Mages due to melee range, but they give a bunch more corpses to play with, so not only do they pay for themselves, they also give you more Mendeln procs. Felt much better during boss fights. For those running the Bone Prison variant, you'd probably want to stick to additional Mages. I found that Bone Prison blocked most of my Reapers from hitting the target, unless I trapped them in there, Rorschach style.
Is black river unique worth using or not really since you can’t put a aspect on
Not really, no.
@@MacroBioBoiAlright, but still not sure how mandatory it is compared to other damage reduction means.
@@lasse9706It's without question the best survivability Defensive aspect in the game. Hands down.
Can you play this build on eternal realm?
what is best amount of seconds on barb heart we should be looking for mainly for lith
The longer the better for Lillith

Not a bad idea at all

Another video to bookmark and watch in the year 2057, when the ring MIGHT drop for me.
That's how I felt. Level 78 and no ring. Then I switched to Blood Lance, and the ring dropped in my first dungeon. Good shit. At least switching builds is an efficient and cheap experience...
I’m 77 and still hunting ring. Really thinking of switching build till I can find it

why build into the decrepify if you don't use it on your skill slots?
The decrepify heart casts it for free
The only thing that I am doing different is that I have stayed with Blight with pulling to engage at distance and use terror. I loose the 2 extra minions...
Is that build able to do 100 NM dungeons AND uber lilith? and how strong is it in both things compared to the normal infinimist?
Yes and yes, better at Lillith than base Infinimist.
after hitting 100 on infinimist i had huge survivibility problems in both nm 100 and uber lilith, so i hope this build can fix that a bit :D@@MacroBioBoi
aspect of decay vs blighted aspect
I’m a shadow build and have a Mendel ring.
Blighted for sure. Although I think Black River is a poor choice on the build.
Have almost the same question on my mind as well, been thinking to drop the aspect of grasping veins over decay? Should i go for it? Or shud i drop decay instead? Thanks
What is a good overall stat number for Lucky Hit chance for this build?
Maximum. But more sincerely, 50% at least.
i dont know what i'm doing wrong with this build because my bone spears is clearing 50s no problem. playstyle issue or gear?
I can't possibly answer that question with this information. Bone spear will always feel much stronger than any other build on comparable gear.
I am rocking that shield on HC, too. What stats and aspect have you prioritized? I found an 810 with damage and DR but feel like it could be better.
@@mikegovednik1523 NP, hope you enjoy the new builds. In season I was playing rogue and barb more but eventually found the Necro with most fun.
How about bone prison which mendeln could proc 500mil to 1b damage?
Bone prison doesn't make Mendeln magically do 1 billion damage. That's stacking damage on the barber on Echo of Lillith.
What is going to be the easiest/safest build for beating a tier 100 dungeon just once?
Blood Lance probably
Thank you.

Anyone think ranks to corpse explosion on your pants would be good instead of one defensive stat?
For speed farming, yes.
Your focus should be Quinns eye. Perfect roll will net 11 LHC base. Then roll another Stat to double stack LHC. When upgraded, you get 25.5% LHC at all times.
Quinn eye drops from unique elite. 😂😅
No it should not, but thank you. We have more than enough Lucky Hit. Quinn's Eye is a great starter item.
I was saying the item, not your attention. 😂
@@GrimsBarI know we're talking about in the in game item. That was fairly obvious.
How u get perfect gear
820+25 and all stat are at their highest, explain me please ....😮
They're pictures of ideal stats
Paragon boards from this vid/planner differ from the guide.
The guide is always the source of truth
since we do not need the damage from mastery isin't it just stupid to take mastery since death's deffense makes our minions not able to take more than 30% hp in a attack so they won't be able to die from less than 4 hits no matter what i know i run 100's at 91 with 0 minion deffensives tho i do take transfusion just to heal my minions, fron blood orbs
AoE skills do 4 hits very quickly. I'd rather them live for 8 hits if possible.

I like MENDELN SUMMONER
+ INFINIMIST build but i want replace any aspect for blood soaked. I like faster movement when go blood mist. Suggest? Thx ❤️
Don't use howl from below
This is what I've been running except for Howl From Below, but I got fist of fate yesterday and gave it a shot It's okay but I think I'm going to go with Howl from below
I do need to put shielding storm on my build though
Without it I haven't had too much problem with survivability but this probably would help
Level 83
My favorite build since slide druid. Very fun interactions, you could pop on iron maiden and use that 60%x multiplier. Instead of reap or sever?
Update?
The build guide on Maxroll is fully updated.
Quadruple max roll, on 4 perfect stats for item, at highest possible item level, with no reroll, lol. Ok where tf did you find that ring?
Actually, every single piece of gear you have is item power 820, with four perfect max rolls, without even being rerolled once. How is that possible?
They're literally pictures of ideal stats. You can see that they're bigger than the item screen.
@MacroBioBoi ahhh ok, I was like is the the luckiest guy on earth or is he cheating? I can barely find items with 3/4 correct affixes at decent rolls
lvl96, still no ring..
Bone mages with picana and barber do plenty of damage lol
Can somebody build a freezing necro? There’s so many freezing necro uniques and NOBODY IS USING THEM! From gloves to boots to scythes. somebody has to be able to figure this out. 🧐
It's just bad. That's the reality. There's actually no frozen synergy, it's just another CC which the class already has a ton of. And the scythe is trash.
@@MacroBioBoi bummer. It’s a shame that there’s so many freezing uniques and they’re so impossible to use.
No. Minions are broken.
wut
Your still flogging that dead horse D4? Wow 😂
GG on first comment!
You're so late :/
To what?
@@MacroBioBoi this build is there since before the season, Sinity made some lilith kill videos, then rob made a guide, then all the youtubers made some guide, then 3 weeks later you make one.
I never understood the need to do something another one already did pretty damn good, changing one spell and not give credit.
This build is everywhere on youtube, come on.
@@dukeath3332thats just youtube. Since i know chinese, i checked out the builds in bilibili and tiktok as well, got a build now from the best of both worlds. One interesting thing is creators on various platforms will claim first originality 😂. But the world is so big man..
Tier 56😂
That tier 86 bud.
