Neat little layout Terry. You can still get a Right of away transformer. They occasionally pop up on eBay. Sid from Sid’s trains says it’s the best transformer ever made for O scale. I’d like one too.
I appreciate the hours of work that went into this video - calculating the speed and positioning the trains for maximum effect. Every time I watch this video is like taking the weight of the world off my shoulders and returning to my childhood. Tranquility.
Hey TJ, your new video couldn't have come at a better time. After the day I just had at the Sheriff's Office, I came home and saw your video. My blood pressure dropped 20 points after seeing it. Nothing helps me relax and takes me back to calmer better days than Lionel trains from my childhood. Best medicine ever invented. Thank you Doctor TJ.
This is the type of layout I really want to build. Simple and with more focus of running trains with accessories scattered around it. Hopefully one day when everything checks out in terms of space and finances, it'll see the light of day. Would be nice to get my trains off my apartment floor and onto a proper layout again. I miss the the 5x9 my dad and I built almost 15 years ago, which he recently dismantled.
TJ have you ever seen the Ozzie and Harriet episode called The Electric Train? It's the greatest, despite the poor resolution. The mock hobby shop scene is the best anywhere in television, and the dealer layout is outstanding. I love it.
That is an amazing layout I wish I had a big enough space like that for a layout like this. I only have a 4x8, but I love my layout, I have quite a few videos of it posted on my channel.
Great postwar layout! Thanks for sharing! Also, are you Terry Johnson from the Tom McComas Lionel videos? I seen you in the 1st and 2nd videos. Also, near the end of the 1st TM Lionel video they said you collect baseball hats, and I saw a hat collection in your more recent RUclips Lionel Postwar layout video! I really enjoy your train layouts!
Shh....you busted me. Yes, I am indeed that person only a few decades older. Most of the caps are stored away now to make room for more trains and toys. Thank you for reaching out and for your nice comments!
Love your collection. Really enjoyed watching. 😀
Thanks Jeff, I appreciate it!
Love your old school layout with the tubular track
Thank you Ralph!

Wow, I guess the time and effort I spent on making this video was well worth it if it helps one person reclaim some serenity. Thank you!

Well done sir. I'm doing my layout simple one loop. But I'm glad I asked the roadbed because it works i send a recording your way
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing your project. i will also check out your RC vids on your channel later tonight.
Nice to see another layout with tubular track. I only use Fasttrack under the Christmas tree to keep the carpet fuzz out of my motors and wheels.
Smart move. I've pulled many carpet fibers and pet hair out of gears.
I love it, brings me back to being 8 years old!
Except now you can reach the cookie jar.
@@chiconian49 LOL, good point. And hopefully there's more than a little spare change in the jar.
Subbed! Awesome trains.
Thank you!

Yeah, that's a fun episode that might as well have been sponsored by Lionel.
Beautiful !!!
Thank you!
