Body of fallen Billerica officer brought to funeral home

  • A solemn procession brought the body of Billerica Police Sgt. Ian Taylor to the Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen on Sunday. Taylor, 49, died Friday after being injured while working a construction detail on Route 3A.

    Why are they saluting him? He is not a soldier. I've never seen a police officer salute a superior officer.
