    I’ve got a set of Tunisian hooks, have looked at the usual “how to” books. Got confused and frustrated. But you’ve made sense as ever! Thank you so much, you are the best teacher and now there’s no stopping me! Lol

    I want to learn the different ways to create with crochet hooks. I bought two Tunisian hooks a couple of years ago, but that is as far as I got. Hoping I can find them and use them with your awesome tutorials. Thank you for the lessons. Have a most blessed day.

    In addition to the feather and fan crochet stitch, I want to learn this style of crochet. I've never done any crochet so I am excited to start. This looks easier than any other I've seen. Thank you for sharing and teaching!

    Thank you. I absolutely know between you and one other channel, that i will Learn tunisian. I think I am caught up on "To do" items. It is a fantastic time to learn something new. I have made your shawl vest and virus shawl. I started a kaleidoscope blanket, i had to stop because I kept jumping ahead and wax wrong. It is definitely on my list as i was gifted yarn that will work.

    I so hope you do a Tunisian series here. Mostly, I spend on yarns here... being the total yarn/crafting addict that I am LOL! This past week, I saw a bundle of Tunisian style patterns and stitches on sale at Leisure Arts. Wasn't able to manage an extra expense... and of course it was on sale even. As badly as I want that series of books, after watching the tutorial here, I think I will invest in a set of Tunisian hooks first, it makes more sense... Thanks as always for the video!

    Hi, I was given a huge bag of wool yarn my sister spun years ago as a beginner. (By another sister). My fee is a wall hanging & I want to use this type of crochet. It will be a scene so I will be running several colors before I'm insane, (I mean done) I sure would like to see a tutorial with multiple colors' Thanks. Learned a lot from just this one. Sella

    Is there a joining technique for squares of this type of crochet that works better than others, or does it not really matter?

  • @sarahcontento9516

    Hi fiber spider I wanted to know if you blocked the smaller mm hooked square and if not do you think it would help?

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад

      I didn't block that piece at the time because I wanted to show its natural appearance. As for blocking, it might work, although would probably work better with natural fibers like wool.

      Hi again so I'm confused about blocking. I've been crocheting for about a year. I knitted before that but never blocked anything, can any fiber of yarn be blocked? I need help 🤔☺

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад

      To be honest, I really don't block my work so I don't have the experience to guide you much. However, I do know that natural fibers block better than synthetics because of the way they take on the moisture/steam process.

    It keeps curling ahhhhh

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  6 лет назад +1

      True, but a larger gauge hook does help. It also helps if you stitch a border around the perimeter of the piece as well. It's curls much like the stockinette stitch in knitting. Alas, it's the nature of the beast, lol.

      Lorna Hardin if you damp block the work afterwards it will help prevent the curl !!
