We were fortunate to find your RUclips channel back in 2021 when planning our move, then hired you for the move and transition. Now over two years in the Central Valley, we can say things have gone very well for us listening to you and your advice! You recommended our lawyer, car importing company, and insurance resources. And, you invited us into your client Central Valley WhatsApp group with even more additional and helpful info! All is good. Thank you for everything. We are very happy here!

I moved here recently with my daughter and we are currently renting in Santa Ana near San Jose. However, my mom will be retiring here soon and we will need to find the perfect area that will suit 3 generations (65, 44 and 22) with different needs and wants into one home. That is the ultimate challenge!

❤ that you are talking about medical emergencies! I moved there two years ago and got dengue and had to leave due to hard to access medical services. Still coming back though 😂

I am so sorry to learn that. Why was it difficult to access care? How often do people contract dengue fever?

Do you know anything about nurses moving to CR, or direct on where to look. Are there private hospitals with English speaking nurses?

What area would you recommend for a public school for a 7-year old? Looking for a family friendly area.

There are public schools everywhere but if your child doesn’t speak Spanish that will be a really hard adjustment. Also like any country the quality of public schools can vary depending on the area. I would consider a private school if possible.

How do you reconcile with the fact that you are essentially colonizing yet another country? I've been thinking about moving to CR or somewhere else in Central America but I do not want to contribute to any kind of gentrification or end up living on stolen native land.

Please don't move to my country. We have too many foreigners driving up congestion, real estate prices, and the cost of everyday things. Pick any other country but mine.
