This was a horrible interview. This guy did nothing wrong but make a suggestion to support women w/families and back it up. Why get fired? So much for tolerance and acceptance of ideas. Good grief!

I don't think the interviewer and the Democrat read James Damore's memo. What they said about it made no sense.

Not sure why they are saying Google should have a town hall and Damore show his science ... especially when he cited the science in his memo ... it would be a much better segment if they referenced the science he cited and had a discussion on some of the topics .... but I guess that's asking too much!

This was an incredibly bad interview. The middle lady does not have a clue. She says look what he said let's look at what he said about what he wrote and when they switched to clip he wasn't talking about that at all.
He's better off.
I'm not sure if anyone had a chance to look over the the documented reasoning on the case. Honestly, I thought it was appalling. If anyone has a chance to review it as well, please do. According to the ruling, they attributed the citing scientific data as a means to disguise his "intent". Furthermore, Even though they accuse him of masking his "intent". They provide no other scientific evidence to suggest he is wrong in his statements to prove he is hiding his intent. If he was a misogynist, wouldn't there be more than enough evidence to prove him otherwise. If I'm not understanding something correctly, please someone correct me(not a lawyer). I find it really hard to believe that judges would rule this as legal.
Since when did scientific analysis become a right winged conservative activity or viewpoint? This guy is clearly being bullied, because Google leaders are afraid that this guy is really smart, & he's probably right. It seems that some rich people, not all, but some will do just about anything to keep from being wrong or viewed as wrong. James doesn't sound like a racist or selfish jerk, he seems to make a lot of sense to me. I think he's saying that rather than keep pointing at differences, just do something meaningful to offset or change those differences. That is what any one who is really concerned about the disparity would do - stop talking & start walking, because actions speak louder than words. I've heard a few of James' interviews, & my conclusion is that this guy is brilliant. I believe Google did themselves a huge injustice by launching thus guy into his destiny. He's going to do great things for our world.

Claims of equality between diverse demographic groups should always be suspected of being politically motivated. In general, nature does not produce equals. Nature isn't required to do so. Nature has no built-in mechanism to ensure equality.

Search what the founder of Google said about, women in engineering roles it is word for word what he said. The founder of Google agreed with him and his memo.

The NLRB does not have any say in wether something is legal or not. Their memo simply means that they (NRLB) does not find anything wrongful in his termination. The lawsuit is still ongoing.
