The questions were hard, I skipped a few, and tried to logic my way through others (nested formulas are evil) but I bloody smashed it and couldn't have done it without you. Hi Mike! Thank you so much for your videos. I just took the Expert Exam today and I passed with a score of 970. The questions were almost the same. There are different sets of the Expert Excel exam but I got the one that is almost identical to this. Thanks again and I hope you can make an Access MOS Tutorial.

Hey Mike! I was wondering if, on the Expert exam, the test will act exactly like normal Excel by telling me what the order of the values in the cells is. Like, when I type in "concat", the cell automatically has a line under it that says "(text 1,...)" and when I type in "if" the cell below says "(logical test, [value_if_true], [value_if_false])". Thanks!

Do you have an inventory excel system? Just an excel file. I work with inventory monitoring in a warehouse with no inventory system. So, i created one using excel only with various formulas just to automate the file (Vlookup, sumif, sumifs, sumproduct, if , iferror, & others) . These formulas slows down my file every time i make an update .

Hi Diya, it sounds like that's just another way of saying change the features so that it loops at the end of the presentation. I'll test it out but it sounds like that is what is being asked.

Thanks!! MO 200 is the core Excel exam (beginner to intermediate skills) and the MO 201 is the Expert level Excel Exam.

Right at the end of this video, you mentioned being able to do tasks very quickly. What kind of time limits are we looking at with the Excel Exam? Is each objective timed or the whole exam timed in one block?
The exam is timed. 50 minutes for 25 exercises

Mike: Thank you for your videos, very informative. Are there questions about Macros, Cube functions and Data tables in the Excel Expert exam? How about Rand, randbetween?
Good questions! For the 2019 version there is no cube functions and very simple macros. No vba. No rand or rand between. Mostly vlookup/hlookup, averageifs, I hope that helps a little. I’ll come out with more Excel expert stuff soon.

@@barboragruberova8603 it absolutely will be there by default if you have that type of question on the exam, because you would have to add it into the formula as you said or change the formatting and they want you to just worry about inputting the weekday function.

On the subtotal questions you used the subtotal function 2 times. Why did you not used both subtotals at the same time. In that case both subtotals would appear in one line and not in two. Would both solutions be right in the exam?
I've done it both ways but sometimes it's good to show a new step twice. You have a good point, you can also choose both right away. Both would get you full marks.

how can i write a formula that only compares 2 cells in a given row that will have 4 values? For example, cell B1 has a value of 6 and C1 has a value of 2. the "Difference cell" will total C1-B1 = -4. then when i add a value of 3 into cell D1 of 3, the "difference cell" will total D1-C1 = 1. then when i add a value of 3 into cell E1, the "difference cell" will total E1-D1 = 0. Hope this makes sense lol

Isn't that first section with the fill by 100 incorrect? Row 7 jumps by 200 not 100.
