Managed to cut a few minutes off to deliver the info/subtitles but.. I dunno, while it is more condensed, I feel like there's too much going on in one instance, like you need to focus on many things in at once. What do y'all think? Any advice?
My advice would be, if possible, to narrate the videos with a very similar script to what you have as subtitles. Videos with text to read generally don't transcend into being "content" and will end up being viewed only by people searching specifically for help/tutorials. But if you speak the lines yourself, the video now has personality (yours, to be specific!) and people will find your vids much more engaging, something closer to a conversation than reading a walkthrough online. Try your best to be confident, like you're talking to someone you're comfortable with. I dunno if this is the kind of advice you were looking for, but it's what I got. Good luck! edit: I also just want to add, it seems to me that you put a lot of thought/effort into the quality of your vids. Not everybody has this, so keep at it. Reading the comments, it seems others think so too.
That's true, I've even talk about this with my friend about it being narrated/voiced when making the Advanced Tips video, but english is not my native language and even if I speak using my native language I stumble quite often, my friend gave me an advice on using Text To Speech/TTS, which I've considered, but I'm going to need a software for that, the web version is too slow with the cooldown. Also thanks, as for effort, yea.. I think I should've put a bit less with my limited knowledge, I ended up Improving stuff into a section or entire video while it a glance (or maybe not) it's fine but then you look for closely it'll show, I kinda happy how it turns out though, using in-game stuff as a chapter segment and it's sound for example, but it could be better with more knowledge or even using a whole different- more advanced editing software, and thank you for the advice !
Very well done. I wish something this comprehensive was around when I first went through Exploration mode on PC. This is going to save a lot of you a LOT of time.
This is such a great video, the editing and the contents were really well put. I'm going to give solo exploration a try and see how it goes. Thanks for the guide!
yea, just made these because I'm trying the editing software, and I heard the game's free on EGS, so I put that and what I see/experience in a vid, and thanks for stopping by!
I believe the boss Strais' name determine their Arsenal model too, for example Strai RT:GF, "GF" stand for Grief so you can expect that Strai will have Grief's Arsenal model and gear. And then you have "EP" which stands for Empress, and so on.
Really?? I didn't know you could check the strais before picking one in the acid loot room. I just assumed the first one you press F, then the rest disappears. Thanks, you earned a sub.
Mods are extremely important. They can cut a fight down by an extremely long time. And, there's only one really good melee to use. It's nice to carry one with 3 modded slots. Honestly really hoping this game gets updates since they put it on Epic games.
yes, mods are really helpful. and true (the melee part) if you are min-maxing, but if you are focusing on PvE, you can use pretty much everything really
@@Erimos_ hey bro just saying but i have few questions not about exploration tho 1)how to get access to the secret factory(in the ice cream parlor but how to) 2)how to craft a boss weapon(i completed dreadonaught cuz i wanted it's weapon but i can't craft it)
I think they concluded updates a year and a half ago, at the 1 year anniversary mark. However, at the 2 year anniversary last Sept they confirmed they are working on DxM 2
it gets a sequel it seems.... I've played this for around 200 hour ish in my switch. Got everything I want for my mech and got all the loot from the raid bosses. I still have friends that is active in this game on switch
@@user-mp7sm6fv4y maybe this is too late but here it goes. 1. If I remember correctly, you have to buy ice creams for a set of number of ice cream it will then open the secret factory 2. You have to open the secret factory first, there's where you can buy them AFTER you completed the blue print of the boss weapons you want.
For the acid rooms (Don't be greedy now), I've been able to activate shield mode and don't take acid damage for a while like activate it before entering the dangerous area, which is generally where the ground glows green. I think it applies it's damage strangely as well, there are brief 'invulnerability' periods where you don't take damage as well.
@@Erimos_ yeah. Try it and experiment. If there is a difficulty setting to the game it is on its default value, but I have definitely noticed a delay with shield active. It's not super long probably about 20 secs if that, but is usually enough to pick up a healing truck and start flying with it so you can use it in a safer location
Further playing with it, but it skips the first application if shield is active upon entry into the room proper. So, you can go through the room entirely while the first shield is active, and possibly pick something up if you are fast enough, then you escape damage. But if you turn on shield while you're in the acid room then you get the damage applied as normal. I think acid damage is percentage based as well. Looks like you can have 5 applications of it (the fourth application is capped to take you to about 10% health I think). The 5th application will kill your mech.
It is also possible to use melee weapons to destroy the laser cannons in order to conserve ammo, I have tested it myself while the cannons are firing to prove if there's any danger and confirmed it is safe to do so (as long as you don't accidentally swing in front of its firing range, but that shouldn't really be a problem since the cannon's hitbox is big).
Here is a tip. Use those double cannon femto lasers with 3x into damage module (ignore femto reduction..its cheap enogh to cast). You can then pretty much wipe out any strai on map, exept the laser resistant one (bring bullet type weapons). Not to mention its mobile and if you know how to aim you can easy keep full change on enemy till you run out of femto (but by that time anything is dead) Even more effective with traps already set. Also, if you get those rooms where you have to exit, just skip them and go araund. There is always a 2 way to final boss room. As for the bomb rooms, just send your clone and let it soak damage. I personaly avoid water + fire rooms and the loot up there is just not worth risking when you are solo. The explosive trucks that you pick up, can be also used as a way to damage 3 bosses by litle. This depends on map spawn. To save ammo, ignore side rooms that go anywhere (unless they have loot) as those mobs are not worth your ammo and time.
This is a rare satisfaction! I never know you can inspect items by pressing F or i just forgot what the manual was told. Hmm... Anyways this a great video
There are these rooms where you have to disembark from your arsenal and Hack a terminal on the other side of the room. What skill or reqirement do you need to do this? I thought i needed the smash skill, but i cannot interact with it, and have lost two runs because the boss room was locked behind it.
@@Erimos_ I clear out the room of enemies, but when I push interact with the console nothing happens. Maybe it's because I set my key to right on the d-pad?
what platform are you on? I am playing on PC, so if you use controller on PC try pressing the F button, if not, well try going to the setting and rebind it to something else, or try the default keybinds, if you can interact with the exploration console, then it should be the same button press
I'm on switch, but i think i figured it out. It seems i have to stay at the console for a little while after interacting with it. I assumed it would just imediatelly open from pressing it. Also i love how you made your hud so im copying it for mine lol.
ah I see, as far as I remember, you don't need to wait there a bit, but then again last time I play it was a long time ago, glad the problem is resolved and thanks, good hunting !
