Thanks for watching this video guys! Really an exciting moment to use a RTT for the first time. At the time of writing this comment, I've already used this RTT for about 15-20 times over the span of 6 months, and I've got LOTS TO SHARE WITH YOU! Here's a video of my thoughts and honest review of the RTT ruclips.net/video/eDEY11GWHuM/видео.html
I often see greens on your plate, be it fresh or cooked, love that, it's high time we introduce a healthier meal habit for campers in our outdoors community :)
bungie cord around the tent with a bit of tension on will pull the tent sides in when you fold it up hay presto no tucking in or very little and zipped up in no time nice if its monsooning it down like it seems to do there even on the toyota tent
Great Video, if only we can do this here. I'm pretty sure if i set this up here in my country, the police would be called. Anyways...two naughty dogs in the morning at the background 😂
That is a nice 2 nights episode with the roof top tent, putting it thru the test of strong wind and down pour. The set up looks easy, just the packing need some practices perhaps. And, you remember the dog treat this time, haha. The camp site is nice, is there any mosquitos issue? Btw I cant help but have to share with you that the 20:09 lovely morning secene outside the windows might get you a S rating. LOL. Thank you again Jun for another nice camping episode.
Yes definitely need practice with this new tent... needs abit of getting used to but so far I love it! The campsite ticks all the boxes for a nice camping experience. Mosquitoes - minimal to none, but at dusk there may be some if you camp further from the river and near the bushes. Alamak I didn't notice that scene laaa... Your eyes are so sharp!
Hi Jun!! I'm so happy for your new rooftent and your tent-evolution XD! Just want to let you know that you are my inspiration (even i'm already married and not valid for solo camping.. haha) but I learned so many things from your video! While most of youtubers focusing on "glamping" style, but you are not, you started with very basic stuffs and still can enjoy the nature! I started my camping journey because of you too!! Hope that 1 day, me and my spouse are able to buy big/suv car and able to sleep in roof top tent!
Hi there, thank you for your lovely comment. It warms my heart to know that my videos have brought some value to you and you've started camping because of them! Indeed...we don't need a lot of things to enjoy nature. Sometimes when we come across a good quality gear, that's a bonus! Keep camping with your loved ones! Much love :)
Hi Jun. Great videos you post to encourage people to get out of the house. Planning start more camping post retirement. On another note, what your take after using the roof top tent vs ground tent? Maybe a video on that comparison? Keep up the great entertainment for us who are not there yet. Cheers.
Hi there, thanks for dropping by my channel, and thanks for your suggestion and input. Indeed, I'll consider making a video to compare my personal experience using a roof top tent vs a ground tent. Soon! Cheers :)
Excellent! I would love a RTT too! Happy for you that you finally got a RTT. Hard shell RTT soon, please. ❤ the dogs in a few of your videos lol…not fussy and simply the best…eat curry, and prata 😂
Well done 👍👍👍....you made it with your RTT and also like some healthy meals you cooked. BTW, what's hard RTT between soft shell RTT? Haha...suggest you might need anti wind proof tripod if they any shop selling. Meantime....see you in next vlog and enjoy...😊😘
Hard shell RTTs have hard solid top - easier to use and more secure. Indeed I should get a windproof tripod, before I kill my camera! Thanks for watching :)
I saw hard case rooftops tent used rubber/elastic band hooked (carabiner) to tent wall to help pull/tuck the tent fabric inside while stowing it. Maybe it helps in your case too.
You have pointed out an important component of roof top tents! Yes indeed carabiners will be helpful. And this soft shell RTT has a set of 4 carabiners (which I forgot to show in this video)
Wow wow wow awesome new tent Jealous every time watching yr video(bcoz u having great outdoor experience) but tis time really really jealous die me bcoz of yr amazing new toy, love it except the packing part Should hv edited the 18XX scene at 20.08, hihihi may b u over look liau Exactly like my daughter, u both r animal lover with dog/cat food always standby in the car First meal on instant noodle no good but subsequently all were healthy n yummy foods, bagus ! Hello uncle! Thanks for your interesting comment! Yes the new toy is awesome...and yes the packing part needs abit of getting used to. But for the comfort and security it provides, I think it's worth it, quite honestly. Alamak that scene, I didn't notice it until few people pointed it out. You guys are so observant lah! Ahhh sorry about that scene at 20 mins! Didn't realize it >.< I think when I was there, the river was just low-key scary, not too crazy. But i believe if it has rained for a few days consecutively, must have been super wild!
Hello! For sedans, need to be really careful, and find out the load rating of the vehicle first. This tent is about 60kg, even on a SUV like mine, it's already approaching the limit :)
Hey! Usually there is a 5 to 10cm gap between the roof and the tent - that's where the roof rack or cross bars sit. Cleaning is possible, but proper polishing might not be!
ni hari sabtu lepas kan Jun.....i pon goes to the same place sabtu petang....im with my son just survey for wild camping place actually......after that we go to janda baik for some refreshments
Hi start following you this year & know IGR brand through you. Is roof top tent easy to clean & dry? Are they selling rood rack too? Can use Jun discount code too? Haha
Hi there, I believe roof top tents don't require as much cleaning as ground tents, because they are always off the ground and can be kept relatively clean for a longer time. Yes IRG sells roof racks too, as well as other accessories for RTT living. Haha please use my discount code to start the conversation with IRG :) wa.me/60132232339?text=JUNOUTDOORS
Hi Jun..just got your channel from Dechlon....seeking to buy Rooftop tent for my Suzuki Jeep....Q1: is the whole tent is permanently secured on the vehicle roof..? Q2: What's the price like..?
Hi there. Roof top tents are usually mounted on a roof rack or crossbars on the car roof. It's not permanent, but most people just keep it on their cars all the time because its not easy to remove it yourself. Price varies depending on brand, type and size. Ranging from rm3k up to 15k!
saya nak tengok macam mana awak ikat tali tu.. saya guna "Wind Rope Buckle".. tapi macam awak tak guna benda tu.. atau saya tak jelas.. video lain boleh tak awak tunjuk cara awak buat...

this particular tent can support 2-3 person, max weight capacity is 250kg :)
