A very effective simple video to explain the stock market charts and how to read all the symbols. Do you have a video on Dollar Cost Average? I know that you don't like buying when a stock is lowering day after day.
Jake When you have purchased your thousand shares of SPY, will you still do this technical analysis before you make investment decisions on SPY? Or will you just keep selling puts, and if it gets assigned, keep selling calls?

Another very informative video, Jake. Its always good to learn no matter the level of experience. Plus, it helps refreshen the brain and see a rather tedious task in new ways.
This is a very good tutorial. I would add a few points. Almost all the trend indicators are lag indicators. I have one provided by my broker in their charts that is a forward indicator - called Time Series Forecast, which is similar to your stochastics, except that it uses only 1 line superimposed over the stock price. When the TSF line crosses above the price line expect a drop in price, when it falls below expect a price increase. I combine this with a slope indicator that I will not share freely, but I will state as a hint that a slope above a certain percentage cannot be maintained in either direction. Happy trading.

Hi. Im looking at the "Market trades" widget on my platform and Im wondering if the last trade placed determines the price, or is related to volume somehow? What if the last trade was a infantisimally small volume of bitcoin or whatever, but it was the last trade, does that set the current price?

You said it by yourself: It's not science. It's actually pseudoscience. Nobody can predict the stock market, but plotting price charts, candlestick diagrams and betting on the next rise or fall is kind of fun.

After taking people through credit and debit spreads, at last in clip 49, people get to learn P/E ratios and P/S, etc. along with some lame technical analysis explanation. don't you think by now all their accounts have been drained, when you just teaching them this stuff?

It's my #1 tip! Honestly, if a stock is below its 200 moving average, I would just recommend ignoring it until it can get back above it.
