Red talon soldier doesn't get fatigued or injured like ever! They were kind of op already but this is just game breaking. You can run that guy literally forever....
Almost. Depends on the skills/ traits. My Red Talon has -40% fatigue, another -40%, and a -20% hero bonus. That’s -100% fatigue. She starts with -2 Stamina from fatigue (compared to the -8 normal survivors lose) and gradually loses -1.
I love stacking in this game.
@@1OVR34L im referring to Red Talon guy from "Homecoming". He is super broken (at least in my case). I was running him for 3 days consecutive on lethal. Didnt get fatigued at all, no injuries and cant get blood fever. I think he is marked essential or something.
My main survivor (White) does get fatigue sometimes

@@bojack4840 my main is Alejo he is a good car driver reducing fuel, has plus 2 labor if you get to max rank, +3 morale and food for gardens
I just found out from completing the builders legacy on trumble valley straight after the installing Cleo mission that if you have the haven device installed while doing the Cleo call ins and the builder finally you base won’t even be over run on lethal thanks too the haven device lol

SOD2 is the only game I can look forward to playing after a long hiatus and know that something new will be there! Friggin love this game!
in my opinion,ut would been 1000% nicer/epic if undead labs changed the marshal base with the daybreak base,like,a bigger red talon focus base,and the marshal with more like,normal things like it already have.

Honestly, I love the base but its not built for the long run. I just lick my wounds, stock some great weapons and get the free recruit and then fly off.
But for a starter to mid game base? Totally worth it and a total MUST TRY base for people playing at Trumbull Valley.
So the facilities tgat give your community special boost for an hour, does that also applied to your friends that were to join your world on multiplayer? Would they also receive that bonus?
Do you think this would count towards that achievement? Where you have to have all red talon facilities in one base?
Can't wait to move into all the bases. I want to slow roll through the map and spend at least 10-15 days at each base. So excited for this.

@@RiskyRich_Gaming Definitely from scratch. I always play new maps with fresh communitys. Lethal zone with a fresh community to solidify the difficulty of Lethal. I love starting form scratch and seeing what kind of survivors I can find.

Exactly. Fun to use all the nice toys from years of playing. I don't have too many Daybreak weapons because I don't play that part of the game much. Not enough prestige points.
I'm having a weird problem with the storage. Whenever I bring in rucksacks the storage symbol is not shown. The storage facility is missing too. I don't know how to fix it.

I think one important thing that was left out was you call Chavez from the Rancid Red Talon Officer Quarters.

I have notice that you can get only one red talon contractor and it is with demolitions. Any chance to get some other skill then demolitions?
Why does the watchtower not have a watch tower? How's a corner made of boxes and watch tower? Or is my game glitches cause I did the mission to get the tower part and upgraded and there's nothing there. Just an empty space
I only felt it was necessary to get all red talon operators when I heard of that base.
Is the agent you recruit different each time or is it the same each time?
It’s a different character each time, randomly generated except that it’s always a Demolitions RT

Can you get the red talon recruit without taking the red talon base? Haha I just setup a sweet setup at the farm base I didn't want to downgrade bases . But I really could use that guys 5th skill... if anyone answers . Thanks anyways for the info buddy

Will the new DLC explain what happened to the Network in trumbull valley? Or the group in heartland DLC?
They are still there. Chauvez the guy who sends you on those set up missions was a recruitable character in heartland, the expert for the pioneering skill. Other than that, I don't know about the others like Zee or Keesha or Isaac. Maybe they are there somewhere too.

Hm. I Talked to Chavez and upgraded the two facilities and there was no option to ever recruit anyone.
This game needs to let People have multiple bases with their different leaders and the ability to capture every single outpost plusss the zombies can take them from you cause this game is so fucking good

I can't get the recruit. I've done every core mission for Trumbull valley, and I've fixed the other RT prefabs, except for the workshop because Chavez keeps telling me hes busy with a friend. I exiled a survivor to bring my survivor count to 8 cause maybe it wouldn't start at 9. But then I thought, maybe it's because I already have a munitions survivor. I liked this survivor very much, but after exiling him too, Chavez STILL keeps telling me hes busy!!? What am I doing wrong!?! Is it bugged?? I've lost 4 great characters to exile this run through only to be a waste cause the game will bug and won't give me the recruit i made space for.
Too many enclaves. You need to get rid if an enclave to recruit Red Talon
Chavez keeps saying he is busy when I call him to help me fix the workshop. Is it because I already have 9 characters? or do we need characters with electronics and munitions as 5th skills?
If you haven’t done the first mission with the Mad Scientists yet (Mickey, IzzBee, and the Doc) then go to the very top right of the map to trigger it. I had the same problem and that fixed it for me.
@@kittens-kun7671 okay what about if we've already finished all those missions? I still can't get Chavez to initiate the mission. He just keeps telling me hes helping a friend and is busy.
@@rylan8046 I don’t actually know what causes the bug or if what I did fixed. Whether doing the first mission is what did it or not I’m not sure. I reported it to them so hopefully it they’ll fix it.
Is this like a heartland where it has a set list of characters or can I move a legacy community into the valley

I'm not gonna lie, the Red Talon base intrigues me because of the Red Talon facilities I Don't have to grind for in Daybreak for prestige points. They Instantly boost morale with those facilities, But....

At the red Talon base what if you have a community of 9 will u still be able to get him
If the mission requires you to recruit him then yes. 9 is the soft cap 12 is hard cap.

We tried it’s not going to happen they’re only for the lethal zone community even though the wishlist has a wish for a swat outfit consisting of 201 votes compared to everything else so yeah they definitely listen to the community give a break

So the red talon guy has demolition so he's knowledgeable of munitions and electronics. So if I have 2 survivors one with munitions and one with electronics should I get rid of em since the red talon recruit knows both of em as one skill?
I mean if you need to fill up the slots with different survivors and the hero bonuses aren't super useful yeah for sure, the red talon is going to be much more efficient and useful in the long run.
You will lose the basic skill knowledges as the RT doesn't know Computers or Chemistry, only having the specialised skills for both.

Make sure your game is updated as they addressed this issue a few days ago in a patch.

When does the mission come in for the Red Talon soldier? I claimed the base, and Chaves called, but he hasn't given me a mission.

A future update is going to be adding 2 more slots for a total of 5.
It's cool that it's Chavez they're adding from the Heartland storyline, although I already re-made him and the others via the community editor so I could have them in my legacy pool :)

I’ve done all the fixing with Chavez but I’m not getting the mission to recruit the red talon guy, wtf? I didn’t need Chavez to fix the workshop because one of my guys said they could do it and it canceled that call? Is it bugged now?
So I had the issue I think you have to ask for help then repair it

Happened to me too. If I had to guess you can only get the guy if you don't already have someone who can upgrade the workshop

I tried the work shop in the red talon that eveyone is prasing about. Imo, its dissapointing. The repair is super slow. 1hour repair 3~4parts....
I pretty much buy this workshop every playthrough I do and after mnay hours I find most of my stuff is repaired. It takes time but the fact I always BUY IT for me its worth it!

I seen some streamer keep 100 weapon and need 1 minute to scroll down to search their weapon is ridiculous.
The 5material to build a level 3workshop is op thou. Too op if i would say.
It’s free and built in, and it helps save parts to build vehicle repair kits that you’ll need on anything higher than normal.

I done all the mini missions for repairing the building’s but the mission to recruit the Red Talon Soldier hasn’t pooped up and don’t see any option in the radio. What do I do?
Only problem with this facility is that you have to choose between a lounge (on lethal the latrine is NOT enough alone) and a garden... if you want more than 4-5 people you really suffer on food. No kitchen, either.
If your free red talon soldier die or you exile him , can you go back get another free one?
Can you deconstruct them for the red talon prefab?

My free red talon soldier died on lethal half an hour later from a bloater 😂

This base has more than enough room for 2 large slots, 3 smalls up top & 1 small down between the wheel controls. Why do they leave such promising gaps.

Fort marshall needs a buff. Completely useless for a 8 man base.
I just tried just now. Its just like the fort in cascade hill. If only I could destroy the shooting range, toilet and kitchen to make something more useful.
I think the middle base is just too good.
@@swordre5805 Agree with red talon officer quarters, there is no need for a latrine. Kitchen is also kind of useless but atleast i can feast for some morale and that shooting range would be more worthwile if it was a gym + shooting range

@@johnjohn3668 fort marshall has unnecessary buildings. Latrine is useless because of red talon officer quarters which even gives 2 beds. Shooting range is by itself is not that good. Better option is a combined shooting range and a gym/fitness. Kitchen is meh and it would be better if you could brew beer and make ethanol. Also on lethal you need a farm, a trade yard and a still to self sustain. I never need a kitchen or shooting range for my 10 person crew.

Lethal can overwhelm quickly, if not careful.
Haven device in the large slot barricade the doors with cars and all you will have to deal with are the ferals or blood ferals on lethal
Quests in this game are straight up bugged and have been for years absolute joke.
You can just mod the game by drag and dropping mod files from nexusmods for no recruitement cost, im not gonna play DayBreak for 40 more hours to roll a shiter
yeah that agent is free but the skill that agent have is quite useless. An agent with hacking skill is real deal
