Hi. I just bought the MYO armband BUT the myo market site is down as it seems that Google bought the company in june 2020. Is there any other way to use the armband to control a powerpoint and a drone?

Nobody wants to wear a band! This doesn't work! Smartwatches/fitness bands and AR glasses are different because those things are NATURALLY worn. This Myo band thing is trying to introduce a new clothing accessory that no one wants. How will that work? The Kinect and Leap have the RIGHT idea. This take on a mouseless input device is WRONG.
"Naturally worn" means nothing. Naturally we should still be wearing feathers and dance around the fire every night trying to emulate an attacking tiger or something. "accessory that no one wants" - same argument. People don't want stuff. People are trained to want stuff. As time passes, you get so used to it that you can't let it go after that. Nobody is born wanting an iphone. This "wants" are learned. "This take is wrong". Actually not. The best device is a direct neural interface, next best thing is some implant into the hand which reads hand gestures directly form the neural activity stream, next best one is something you are not aware about / not know is there, like this band, naturally fits you .. . and worst is things like the mouse which you push and pull on and even need another surface, requires you to be in one location, and is only temporary. The issue is - this band needs to get better at capturing stuff. Capture more of the nuances of hand movement. Only then is rely superior to a mouse. So far is a joke. Can't see myself using it for real in this unnatural way. I don't want to stress a gesture. It should flow seamlessly and read my mind without me getting constipated trying to explain to this device what i rely want. This is just a proof of concept. But the direction itself is not necessarily a hopeless direction.
