Specifically, a record amount of money has been spent by outside groups against Jamaal, to the tune of over $22,000,000. One of these orgs, the Teach Coalition, have paid 2,000 Republicans and Independents to register as Democrats and vote for Latimer, according to a New York Times article today (it should be easy to find, I always get comments deleted when directly citing a source). So the opposite is true, Bowman is running up against the establishment, who appear to be leveraging his views on Palestine against him.

The far left members like him keep talking ceasefire and there have been so many ceasefires between Israel and hamas and it always gets broken by hamas and this time israel had enough on oct 7th. A ceasefire is only gonna allow hamas to regroup in a couple of years and break it again. Also even the other arab countries wont allow Palestinians in their countries, the civilians could flee from gaza but the brodering arab countries wont allow the civilians to escape, so they are trapped. Maybe they should be calling out Egypt or the other arab countries that wont allow them the escape. All the arab countries dont like Israel and dont want the Palestinians in their countries so they could careless if they die, they look at like its not their problem. This is the true problem is not Israel, its the bordering arab countries that wont open their border for the civilians. You cant blame israel for defending itself. Just like 9/11 and nobody had a problem defending ourselves from the terrorist who attacked us. Same thing. The middle east loves this because any bad news for israel is good news the other middleeast countries. Its not all israels fault, some of the blame goes to the bordering arab countries that wont let the Palestinians in.

Lots of misinformation. First of all, there wasn't a ceasefire. Israel killed civilians in the West Bank on several occasions in September alone, before October 7th. These were ongoing indignities that hardly constitute any meaningful ceasefire. They killed journalists, bombed civilian buildings many times in the preceding year or two. Israel also held and continues to hold Palestinians including women and children in their prisons without charge, in violation of international law. There are reports of torture occurring in those prisons. So acting like Hamas broke a ceasefire with their terrorist attack is just not reflective of the facts.
Arab countries won't take Palestinians because they fear they'll never be allowed back into their homeland. Taking them would help Israel with their attempted ethic cleansing.
We defended ourselves after 9/11, and all it did was cause the rise of ISIS and more extremism, so that's a pretty poor example. One would hope that we learn from past mistakes and history. But the big difference is even as bad as the US was at protecting civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq, our record makes us look like absolute SAINTS compared to how Israel is conducting this "war", which the UN and every human rights group in the world has called out for war crimes and possibly genocide.
