You know chinese is a language with some of the fewest actual syllables that can be spoken
That’s a common myth and simply isn’t true. “Why” has 1 syllable in English but in Chinese it’s “weisheme” which is 3 syllables.
Even in this song, “forget” is yiwang which is 2 syllables. “Looming” is ruoyinruoxian which is 4 syllables.
