Dan. Your flies (river soldier) that I purchased are incredible quality. Thanks and can’t wait to fish !!!

Appreciate that man! After you let your drift go through, please don’t forget to leave that fly below you just hanging in the current!!! Some trout may follow it down and through the swing and finally bite when the fly looks east to ambush just hanging there still in the current near the surface! Good luck!

You are making me want to start creating content as soon as possible and way to get those fish in that rapid rising water.

The west branch of the Farmington is unwadable right now. Been a wet summer so far. So I just chilling out hitting the gym and tying flies. I am doing Trico's right now.

Fished the Walloomsac the day before the rain, but I'm in the central valley and not sure when I'll be fishing again for a while!

Horrible rain for us for sure. Could use a break and let the waters come back to normal. May head to Downsville this weekend….HMU

Dang, I give you so much credit ! It was a great decision with the heavy rains and the river on the rise. But, if you maybe hit it a few hours earlier , I can literally see the river rising and turning dirtier as the vid went on. But, I kept waited for a big ‘river beast’ to come out of its hiding and slam that “River Soldier”. You gave it your best and ended up with some nice fish despite the crazy conditions. I wished you could’ve hooked that one that was hitting quick and short every dang time. I know your frustration when shit like that happens. All in all, you came out with a very good video ! You have a great talent in doing that , even if it makes you tromp through jungles of brutally thick vegetation soaking wet and tough river crossings. Thank you for getting g out and getting “us” a cool , wild , brushbusting video. Glad you made it out of there while you could! That river blew completely out hours later! You’ll be back out again soon after you dry everything out I know! Thank you for this and Tightlines buddy!
