They never even thought to test for Lyme disease. Now he has brain damage,MCAS, POTS and other autoimmune issues. and constant pain.
This is Ren being most ethical and fulfilling his promise to shine light on chronuc illness.

Through your channel I discovered Ren. I was diagnosed with ME last year so his music hits very close to home for me. The ignorance inside the medical community is so shocking about chronic type illnesses. Thanks!

The main reason, as you kinda alluded to, is that Lyme disease is almost unheard of here in the UK and he was extremely fortunate that a doctor in Belgium somehow came across his story and told Ren that he was almost 100% sure that Lyme was the problem. Then, of course, an English doctor with two clinics, one of which was in the US, offered to treat him at no cost if Ren could make his own way over to America. While there, he lived with another guy, who was going through the same course of stem cell transplants, and his family, again at no cost to Ren. The doctor was the angel mentioned in the song.

Ren is in my city of Calgary. He will be here till July. The video was filmed in March.
He is in Clagary and that was shot in march, so not ''that cold''... but you can see by his breath that some night were colder then other ;-)

🙏 Thank you! Prior to that song Ren give us 8 Chapter, 25 000 words (his said) to tell his full story and each one end with a song video of the time area. At one point he was in a suport groupe online and he did told them: If I make it out of this all I will do watever I can to bring awairness to M.E. . That is the promes his holding. Even if it rugh to listen at some point those Chapter are also full of hope, worth to listen to it (don't react to it, just watch it if you want) Thank you again lady, and that found raising is such a good idear. Thank you and have a wonderfull day 🙂

Not that they need any, but in defense of UK doctors, Lyme disease is very rare in Britain. I have two close friends who have had to endure a terrible illness without anyone recognizing what was wrong or how to treat them. They continue to suffer. They have Cruetzfeldt-Jacob Disease.

@@ashlenamusic i think the idea is to be close to the music scene to produce his next album. He was originally talking LA and wanted to go busking in Venice Beach. He was scouting recording companies when he was there. Might have changed that plan tho. He hasn't said.

Thank you for sharing Ren🎶He has a 💛of gold. Even when he was at his worst he put out music to help others. Just about love and compassion 💞 check out "It's Alright" 2016 video. He's such an amazing lyricist and musician, I'm so glad he's healthy enough to do what he loves🎶🎸 but still having to go to treatments but somehow pushes through and gives others hope they can to 🌷🌷🌷
