FIRE STICK VOLUME BUTTONS DON'T WORK - TRY THIS

My fire stick volume buttons stopped working, and I looked everywhere to find out how to fix it, even calling Amazon help, which was no help at all. Anyway, after trial and error for a day, this is what I figured out on my own that worked for me and fixed my remote. You might want to give it a try and maybe it'll help you out too.

This works.....steps are simple....I set up my fire stick by my mom as it was delivered there when shipped the device and remote worked perfect until when I got home and plugged it in to my tv... I was confused as the volume and power button stopped working....i assumed it was a faulty remote until i stumbled across your video....thank you for posting this!!!!!

It worked!!! I've been using the remote the tv came with and some channels are loud and some aren't so I gotta constantly control the volume thus needing both remotes with a almost 3 year old running around. I followed your directions and it worked right away, I can't believe it! Thank you! I don't think I would have figured that all out!

At first it didn't work so I chose to go to advanced set up! It then asked me to put in the device type I was using, I selected fire stick edition big course, turned the TV off for ten seconds and problem solved! Thanks so much for the video.Very informative and straight to the point!

Amazing. I couldn't find this info anywhere. I've been using it with manual control. Like getting up squinting at the buttons and after avoiding my optician often pressing the wrong one. Thanks a million mate.

NEED HELP DSPRERATLY WITH BT AND SOUND BAR VOLUME I have the stick with the volume , I have optical out only on my TV its fixed not loud , so now that I have the newer generation stick wit volume control can I go to BT pair it and then will the volume on the stick control it to my sound bar?

You are the best! Have and older tv and it keeps dropping my remote settings and this fixed it! Only did all of the steps 50 times.... you have to do it just as she did and it worked the first time.
