i'd like a lesson about british pronunciation...because i'm learning that accent wich is very different in some words to the american accent...and for a spanish person as i am...the sounds are very hard to imitate!!!lol!!!
Excellent. Thanks for your suggestion. Later this year we hope to travel to London and do some collaborations with other UK English teachers. We hope to do some pronunciation lessons with them. 😃
I would like your team to help me out i struggle speaking correct and nice pronunciation quickly. I know many vocabularies and respect gramatical rules as well but i don't have high command( speaking faster), I sometimes forget some vocabularies that i already know, and this does not happen to me beacause i am frustrated or nerveous. No, it just happens to me like that. So I want you to help me overcome and get rid of this challenge. Thank you
Thank you so much dear beautiful teachers. You completely corrected me i had a very terrible mistake of using those reductions in written English which typically not academic and sound informal. This video helped me a lot. Be blessed
Thanks so much for your comment Joel. We're glad you enjoyed the lesson. Yes, I would always correct essays with learners using reductions so it's important to know when to use them. Of course, it's okay if you're sending an SMS, but definitely avoid them in any work or academic setting. Have a wonderful day! 😃
I'm gonna look for new lesson right now, When I've found I've gotta watch this video, Right now, I've gotta thank this teacher. Whom watching my comment, correct my mistake inside please.
That's great lesson, I want to practice it with my friends and my workmates, so we got to keep more improving in English, then we have to helping each other.
Hi Ioanna and Wes I love your pronunciation lesson because I felt always terrible sad when I use correct verbs vocabulary and grammar and my American does not understand anything in spite of his kindness and attention I suppose that the fact he does not speak my language which is french is a part of a problem but I need to improve my pronunciation more than to grow my vocabulary !!! Sylvie from South West France ! Loving a Californian man !!!
Hi Sylvie. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. I know it can be frustrating at times. But just keep practicing & hopefully you can identify the areas of pronunciation in which you should focus your attention. Hope you have a wonderful day! 😊👍
Thanks for the lesson. It would be so interesting, if you could make a video like this, with conversations using Q & A section, I'd like to practice responding all kind of questions. (I am a beginner). Regards.
Thanks for commenting Luis. That's a great suggestion. We'll look into creating more conversation lessons with questions and answers. Hope you have a great day! 😃
Thanks a lot for this lesson, it's very useful..... I have a question, can I use reductions in a very formal conversation???....Have a nice day, God bless you..
Thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. And that's a great question. Yes, you can use reductions in formal conversations. Reductions are more associated with fluency instead of formality. As long as you're using them correctly, you could speak using reductions in academic or work presentations, as well as other formal situations. 😃
hello! great lesson! i loved it! so, i would like to know more about Present perfect and Past perfect , i've got very difficulty to understand it! may you help me? tks
Oh, that's a great suggestion Helen. I think maybe we'll do that as a live-lesson because there's more to talk about and we could make it a longer lesson. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Thanks for your comment! 😃👍

Thanks for your comment & suggestion. We do want to start making more Business English lessons, which we plan on doing soon. Hope you have a great week! 😊
Nice and useful lesson, thank you very much! I'd like to know more about connectors and linkers, it's so important when you've got to write an essay, letters, etc. I'm going to share the lesson on Fb, bye!!!!
Hi Patricia. Thanks for your comment. We'll keep that in mind (connectors/linking words) for a future lesson. And thanks for sharing. ❤ Have a great day! 😃
Thank you for exerting great efforts. I suggest to make lesson about vocabularies which related to university and colleges. I like all lessons about vocabulary.
Thanks so much Ly Nguyen. We appreciate your comment. And yes, "I dig it" is an expression that means you like something. In my opinion, I think it used to be more common a while back (10-20 years ago), but some people may still use it from time to time. 😃
Absolutely. Learning & using reductions is a great way to reduce one's accent and sound more fluid in English. It's also great for listening comprehension because we hear these reductions all the time. Have a wonderful day! 😃

Very useful video, thaanks! I have a question, what 'might as well' means? I was reading children's books yesterday and when i saw it in a sentence even in a sentence i couldn't find out the meaning
Hi Junior. As always, thanks for your comment. And that's a great question. When someone says "might as well" it means a suggestion that one is not very excited about. For example, "You might as well do the extra word." In this case it's being suggested but not something that one really wants to do. Or you could say, "I might as well stay home tonight." You don't really want to stay home but there are no better suggestions. Hope this helps! 😃👍
I understand why you are linking sounds together, why use the schwa but I am not really a big fun to these reductions - not even in speaking. Okay, a couple of people told me, my fault in speaking is not using the right intonation, word stress and linkings and I always try to speak according to the correct grammar rules. And honestly, I can write correctly in Hungarian (believe me, it is hard!) and I do my best to write correctly in English. Maybe once when I don't have such a strong accent as now, maybe it will be worth for me using these reductions. You showed a tinypart of a Tom Cruise's movie. Do you know its title?
If u don't mind make lesson for Sentence Connectors , like however , after , before ,and how can we use many word like actually, basically, well like a native . I will be grateful
