Mj and the bulls were always pooping on Philly, in gm 3 Philly was up by 20 something and chicago came back and cut it to 3 then in gm 4 pip wasn't even playing and chicago still won Charles was clearly exhausted and missing free throws left and right
Feel Sorry for Barkley he had a bunch of B- to C players.No way they are beating the Bulls with Cartwright,Jordan,Pippen,Grant and Paxon plus a better bench,not surprised if the Sixers were swept.Too bad Barkley did not play with prime Moses Malone,Dr J,Toney and Cheeks that would have been a different story.Barkley should have come to the Lakers instead of Phoneix.He would have won 2 0r 3 chips with Magic.Barkley would have energized an aging Laker team without Kareem and Cooper and a declining Magic who still had enough in the tank and still was the supreme playmaker but was starting to slow down.I know it was 5 games but the Bulls struggle to beat a team without Scott 20pts shooting and Worthy 20pts plus in the Post that played for pride but were completely injured along with Magic known Tendernitis and hammstring tendencies.That would have help both Magic elongate his career by two or 3 more years and Barkley would have had at least a couple of well deserved rings. Barkley was tops power foward. When you are the only option you know that team defense is going to focus on you and wear u out.
Hard to watch. The refs were always scripting games it seems. Those 2 fouls on Charles in late 3rd and the T called was how they changed the game. Sixers played better but not 20 points better, thats at least how many points the refs scored. Makes me like Micheal less. He was good but he wasnt who we saw on tv. They were making a star/ mind control teacher for you.

Those 2 calls on Barkley were BS, but the tech was fair. The 76ers went into the 4th quarter losing by 1 point and ended up losing by 5 points fair and square.

What also hurt Sixers was NBA warning them NOT to be as physical with MJ I mean the Bulls. Charles & Rick roughed up the Cavs previous series
