Fun fact this section is the only track where sprinters can run by them selves, all other vline services require 2 cars as they previously failed to set off level crossing signals
Morradoo is one of the 3 stations in crib point. Other 2 being stony point and crib point itself. Morradoo is a name won in a contest from the local primary school kids (i think). The cemetery you walked past was the Crib Point cemetery.
They would have to have contracts with vline and ssr for servicing and any major maintenance, and employee qualified drivers. Easier and cheaper to do it this way.
What i love about stony point is how high the station signs are
I think I requested this a whole back
Hahahaha it probably was years ago. I'm verrrrrry slow at getting around to these!
@@melbournerailwayvideos haha yeah I think it was like 2018 😭
Those sprinters look very interesting! 👍👍👍
They are indeed!

Metro service though.
at this point they should just buy 2 sprinters and repaint them into metro livery
i'm sure it's cheaper in the long term
Hahaha yeah. I'd love to see what a Metro-liveried Sprinter would look like!

Yeah, very good point.
Cheaper easier to lease them then just give them back every few weeks
Would be cool but less practical so won’t happen
