No point in appointing a CEO who is overly bright. New appointee needs to be malleable/not overly inquisitive and certainly one with absolutely no IT nous whatsoever. IT crowd sort of stuff.

The buck stops with the CEO. Whether she knew/doesn't recall/can't remember/other dissembling tactics/or simply lies or obfuscates is of small consequence. I just hope that her hopeless performance gives some succour to all the sub-postmasters out there that were victims of her (and others') régime(s). More importantly, when this eventually goes to criminal trial, justice will be done.
Vennells answers the question: are CEOs worth their enormous salaries? Clearly no.
Truly evil women, she's supposedly a member of the clergy. Blessings to all her VICTIMS.

I'm a Yank, but I hate that so many people were besmirched (if not ruined) by this. Having said that, the testimony that I've seen of PV is absolutely appalling if body language and apparent dissimulation are any indication.
You have been watching true evil imo. She should be locked away from decent people. Over the years of her crimes 4 innocent people committed suicide and 700 others had their livelihoods and life savings stolen, went to prison or had their reputations destroyed by this monster and her senior team. One poor innocent woman was sent to prison pregnant and delivered her baby there - how can you ever get over that?
