If they're hub-centric you're fine, the load is transferred thru the ring. 6061 Aluminum, as long as the hub thickness (the lip of the centering ring) is 4mm+ the load transfer is about 28,853lbs with a safety factor of 4, it would fail around 110k lbs of vertical load. All of that is moot if you don't have a torque wrench and try the Ugga Dugga method of torquing bolts.
Idea: take the BIG TEX stickers off the trailer and put an ENTHUZST sticker there....
1DjScarface could do both with all that room. Maybe do Enthuzst sticker in big letters and the RUclips and Insta in smaller letters to the side, one above the other

The good thing about towing a goose neck is the better turning ability. Hauling a empty trailer you don't need to put your truck in tow gear. I like the look with the new truck and trailer package you got going on. I would have kept the 1ton to pull that trailer but to each their own.
Great videos as always man! I've got the Bora 2" spacers on my LLY and just hauled a 7k lb skid steer on a gooseneck with no problems! I've always been skeptical of wheels spacers but ik Bora is one of the best! I also check the lug nuts around every 3k miles or before I go on long trips just to ensure that they're properly torqued and have no problems

Dont turn the truck and trailer to a 90 degree angle (happens at times in tight areas) without unplugging the trailer 7 way plug until you get it in the bed. I only say this because I work at a dealership that sells trailers and parts and I allways see people do it and its one of those things where its a dumb mistake that can make you mad.
Just a heads up to try and prevent.

Remember to grease the ball up next time you unhook. Can't stress that enough. Love it though.
I bought supreme suspensions spacers which are both hub centric and lug centric. For $160 from amazon and they work great

I don't think you should tow with any spacers. Spacers cause tremendous wear and stress on bearings and other components. Idk that's just my opinion

If you want to talk about something hard to load try turning a skid steer around on the trailer. That’ll really make you sweat.
@Adam Felty You load it forward then turn it around for the weight transfer to be correct. You can also park the thing further back allowing for more space on the rfront for other items. If your just hauling thenskid steer, it can be whatever way you choose.. I personally haul mine backwards to have the machine further back on the tires vs in the direct middle incase i grab a load of cedar posts. or somthing.

Was thinking the samething and ones that also have the wheel centric lugs ands the acorn style holes for the studs and lugs.....

I made 600hp with my old sbc on 3in amazon spacers and I broke my axle shafts not my spacers😂 also I’m making 700 in my duramax on amazon adapters and haven’t had any issues🤷♂️
I've been towing on 2" aluminum spacers for 4 years with zero issues but you can never be too careful. If I ever see a sign of having issues I will consider steel spacers

I run eBay spacers got them for $60 2.5 years ago and I rotate my tires about every year and I check the lugs every year and they don’t even budge. And I’ve hauled prolly about 5,000 tongue weight on them.

Yeah make sure you do wheel spacers right. Make sure you get good quality hub centric spacers.

I recommend using chains instead of straps because straps tend to stretch.
717 Outdoors straps are more safe for a nube tho

I'd say either do that or get you can get a chevy crate engine for a couple grand which make 250-300 whp and are just plug and play engines which would be more then enough to scoot that little truck around. I would avoid a diesel swap because its going to make the truck extremely nose heavy. So its going to handle like shit unless you upgrade all the suspension and more then likely the frame. There's just going to be a lot more work then throwing a diesel in it. You'd have to remove the cab just to install the engine. It'd be cool, but its going to be A LOT of work.
Do you have to trim your factory studs in order to fit adapters? In other words do the factory studs hit the back of the rims when mounted

Powdercoat shouldn’t crack off like that. It’s usually a PIA to sandblast off steel, normally.
glad you are doing this upgrade, I was wondering what u where running. especially since you have big offset wheels that puts more stress on the studs too. I have question. do you know pa laws on if cdl required if trailers gvwr is over 10k? or is it that you are good till total truck & trailer gvwr is over 26k? I'm in nys and we can tow over 10k trailer as long as combined is under 26k. They updated it a few years ago. When I read pa law I wasn't sure by the wording.
