If you are looking for a sharp looking puzzle, it is pretty great! I like having them and I've had a lot of people who see my puzzle selection choose to try the chess ones out.
If they like chess, and puzzles it's a fun gift! Of all my puzzles on my shelf, these are the ones people seem to look at the most, so I think they are worth it, but it also depends on your budget.
yes, thank you sir. I was disappointed at the size of the coin. The king's base is wide enough for a quarter-sized coin. I do love the pentagram symbol on the coin thou.
Okay nevermind, I just discovered the pawn is a lucky clover, knight horseshoe, bishop "owl," queen heart, K pentagram (I guess those who solve the K have attained wizardry status.) but I'm puzzled by the rook's symbolism, its a six-point star of David with an "E" under it. Inventor's mark? I'm stumped on that one.
My pin was stuck in when i bought this, so i just turned it and it came apart right away. Any tips on getting the pin to go out?
With that I'd shake it and put it upside down while pulling the top a couple of times. Usually with a little jiggling it'll reset.
I would love to have as whole set. Expensive, but kinda cool. I think they also have a "gun metal" color, so you could tell the two sides apart...
I like Your chess set😂
Me too! :) Thanks for the comment! :)
Is this really worth buying it?

Mine did not come open and I did exactly what you said what do I do?
With some it takes a little bit of shaking or turning. Keep at it, you'll get it.
I am thinking about getting the queen for my mom and the king for my dad for Christmas. Do you think it's worth it?

Can you tell us the coin symbols on the rest of the men? the queen piece carries a heart image I believe.
