Took me about 40 mins to disassemble and about 8 mins to reassemble. Because of you and Chris Ramsay, I have found something I love doing, puzzles! Thank you both. Let the collecting begin! 😃😁
i just solved this a few days ago! took me almost a week of messing with it every few days. i did not understand the steps needed to be taken but i did find out which orientation i needed both pieces in so i could remove them and then i just played with it until it worked!
Like many inquisitive minds, I became interested in puzzles : wire , metal , wooden .... the nice thing about doing a puzzle is , you know there is a solution which often turns out more beautiful than the puzzle . Thank you.
Definite pattern... When disassembling, after the first counter-clockwise moves (3), the unmarked ring always moves counter-clockwise while the engraved ring alternates direction each time. As long as you look at it from the top...
I bought one and wondered why they made it a level 6. There are a couple level 4's that seem to be a little harder to me than this one. Equa, Dial, and Vortex were harder than this and they are level 5. I think one thing that made this easy was right when you take it out of the package it already moves, then you can take a look at the mechanics of it.
Instructions said more simply: the bottom ring has two important positions, STARTING, and all the way counter clockwise just shy of starting (SPUN CCW). Beginning in the STARTING position turn the top ring CCW one step. Now alternate the bottom ring between SPUN CCW and STARTING, turning the top ring one step ccw between each alternation until you're done. To put it back together, reverse, and move clockwise.
Thank you for the video - the graphic explanation was most useful - also the comment below regarding turning the "INFINITY" inscribed cylinder 5 notches in alternating directions, most helpful - just wishing I could get even half of my little fingertip into the cylinders!
Yeah this was the easiest puzzle from hanayama I was literally talking to my kids and just messing with it in my hand and got it apart it took me a while to get it back together but still pretty simple I wish I could afford nice expensive puzzles I'm tired of these rinky dink things
I had already been messing with it and found it hard to look at guides because I had no idea where I was. In trying to match up to some point in the video one of the rings just dropped out and then I was able to get the other one, lol.
It would be faster if you placed both index fingers and spun it clockwise/ anti clockwise. you could use pressure on the inner walls to hold either ring static.
Yes, that's easier but also harder to see what I am doing here. I also created the graphic explanation to make it easier to understand and do not confuse the people who are watching this.
The interesting thing is the pattern. First you turn the blank 1 click/move counter clockwise then the Infinity piece 5 clicks/moves counter clockwise then the blank 1 click/move cc, then the Infinity piece 5 clicks/moves clockwise etc... so the blank always moves counter clockwise 1 click/move and the Infinity piece always moves 5 click/moves, alternating direction each set... But the tricky part is finding the correct position with each other to enable them to turn
Yeah I've been at this for over an hour while still watching this. Also my pieces once put back in the home position are not in the same position as yours.
It's a great fabricated puzzle, but in my opinion not a level 6 puzzle. Just takes some time, but not really difficult.. still glad I bought it though!
I'm not, but my grandparents were born there. They came to the U.S. after WWII. I hope to eventually go to their home towns in the south of Germany. I don't even know where I would start!
Nice video though I really don't understand everything lmao. Please make a playlist according to difficulty of the puzzles. :) Thank you and keep it up! :)
This was my first puzzle, bought it last night. The most difficult parts are moving the non-infinity part from it’s second and forth position. The alignment between both pieces has to be EXACT. Very frustrating. With practice, and with those steps flower smoothly, I’m down to full disassembly and reassembly in about 2 minutes 15 seconds. Although I bet many could do it in half the time.
I found your channel a few weeks ago and I'm amazed. It's become my favorite thing to watch. I wonder how much work the people who design these puzzles put into it. The solving part is amazing but I would like to know how one gets ideas on the designing of those things. I mean, I wonder how, but I would like to see a puzzle designer design one, sometime
took me about 40 to 60 minutes. i wasn't really counting. i just kept jiggling it. when i saw the inside, then i understood a little bit more. its crazy hard and even harder to put back together.
I was able to solve this puzzle another way. My way the infinity stamped ring comes out first. It's hard to explain by text. With the infinity ring facing up and turned all the way around until it is loose and the other ring turned only once(if one turn doesn't work try 2, it is one of those) there is an angle that lets the infinity ring come out the top. The second ring has to be dropped down a little bit if I remember correctly but try all positions. No force is involved. I just got lucky finding it but was able to get it back together this way as well.
I was stuck on a move and had no idea which step it was, and as I held it in my right hand and tried to look through the video the piece just fell right out...
Either I got super lucky, or this puzzle should have been 3 or 4 on Hanayam's 6 star scale. I didn't watch this video before trying the puzzle. I got it apart and back together the first time in 15-20 minutes, and while I was mostly fumbling around while taking it apart, a while into trying to put it back together (and having it come back apart at least once), I realized what was going on, and it just flew after that. I've spent way longer on other level 4 and 5 Hanayama puzzles.
New World well if its the kanji for eternity i can see how they would be similar do to the of the two like how the kanji for country has gold in side it to show a county has riches but i only know about 30ish kanji
I got half way after I think I figured out the mechanics, got stuck, decided to try randomly playing with it while not paying attention to put it back to original position - it fell apart instead and now I'm here to see how to put it back together because I opened it without paying attention and can't go back x'D
Yo you said it can’t be solved randomly? I did it in an hour and a half just turning whatever turned. Shit was hard af until I saw this video. So far this is the second most difficult hanayama I’ve had. The equa (level 5) actually took me the longest out of my 6 level 6 puzzles. I just got them all today and I’ve done all except the equa. If I can’t get it re assembled after the 3 hour mark I’m watching your video.
Solved disassembly. Came here to learn reassembly, then realized that is part of the puzzle too. So I stopped the video. I will probably cheat on reassembly, but so far, no cheating.
Well thanks. Too bad I bought the puzzle first, and then watched you video! I had already gotten to the third sequence however by myself before watching a vid which was only to verify to the same point I had achieved. Edit: I would not have given this a 6. I have tried some of the 3 and 4, and they have been much harder.
I was able to take it a part in about one hour. I don't know how I did, I was turning the way let me do it, then I remember the one with the writing fell out. Could not put it together however that is why came here.
Took me about 40 mins to disassemble and about 8 mins to reassemble. Because of you and Chris Ramsay, I have found something I love doing, puzzles! Thank you both. Let the collecting begin! 😃😁

I got this puzzle for my birthday a few years ago and never got it opened. Thank you so much. I stopped buying puzzle because of it.

One of my favorite puzzles. This channel is also one of my favorite puzzle channels!
Thanks!
I am happy to hear that Rosealia!
Hahahaha hahahah hahahahahhahhahahhahahahahaha

This is the first puzzle I've had in my hands, and my grandparents deeply overestimated my puzzle solving abilities.
Or maybe you have underestimated yourself.
It always makes me chuckle when I watch an older Mr. Puzzle video, before he adopted his trademark cheery 'Hello!"
"You can't randomly solve this puzzle". I solved this puzzle in the middle of books a million by just moving the randomly
I just solved mine randomly then was trying to put it back together and came here, decided to spin it randomly again and now its back together haha
Yeah this was the easiest puzzle from hanayama I was literally talking to my kids and just messing with it in my hand and got it apart it took me a while to get it back together but still pretty simple I wish I could afford nice expensive puzzles I'm tired of these rinky dink things

I'm pretty sure I can do it a lot faster with a sledgehammer and by the time I'm done it would be unrecognizable
You need a sledgehammer or hacksaw to disassemble the fourth piece anyway.
Sirios Star you sound unintelligent
@@siriosstar4789 where are you from i am from kazakhstan
How do you not have more likes
3:03 nice beard you got there Mr Puzzle

I love that Puzzle so much :-D Thats between all my others my absolutely Favorite! Very long Solution-Way! Greetings Alexander
I was able disassemble and put together with out figuring that out exactly. Took about 8 hours but i did it.
Did Haneyama also made the Giraffe puzzle? That would explain a lot.
It's a great fabricated puzzle, but in my opinion not a level 6 puzzle. Just takes some time, but not really difficult.. still glad I bought it though!
Your German accent reminds me of family reunions. I love your videos not only because of the puzzles, but also because your voice is just so familiar.
Now that's a comment I like! Are you also from Germany?
I'm not, but my grandparents were born there. They came to the U.S. after WWII. I hope to eventually go to their home towns in the south of Germany. I don't even know where I would start!
I hope you will have the possibility to do it!
3:02 face reveal lol
despite his accent i was hoping for a wonky looking Asian man, not jason stathem

Handsome Rob
Elmir You can see his reflection most of the time, notice when he turns it around.
Elmir Mujezinovic te ahahaha
I was a bit disappointed by this lvl 6.. It took me 20 mins to solve it. Pretty straight forward.
Imaginate the door lock of your home with this 😯. Every day you must do all steps to go into your home. 😀
:)
Aw, I just climb down the chimney... (Ho ho ho.)
Imaginate?
how do they think of this stuff. really fascinating.

you can see anime ( phi brain) its about the puzzles
Could you show which piece goes in first as there are two ledges of different widths in the outer piece. I can’t work out which piece goes where.
took me about 40 to 60 minutes. i wasn't really counting. i just kept jiggling it. when i saw the inside, then i understood a little bit more. its crazy hard and even harder to put back together.
What do you think about the hanayama cylinder? Would be interesting to see a vid 😊
