Cost effective and it adds up super quick; wasn't aware of how many compa you get from mithril onward personally since I was just doing steel and below shop runs
My sentiment for using Spring Cleaner had always been to save inventory space which is nice for unnoted salvage. I actually dislike the noted version because noted versions already help save inventory space. Not only that, some of the salvage like mithril and adamant have a higher GE value than high alch value for some reason (Large bladed adamant salvage). Some of them even sell for that GE price which is worth more than the high alch value. Because they're already noted, I don't bother to waste springs on it but that was when I didn't have much springs. With events giving out so much tight springs, I gain more springs than I use them and maybe I should high alch noted ones, idk.
My main reason is everything you've said but on top of that it also just saves a lot of time (and effort) not having to pick up drops. Depending on the monster you could potentially make more money by getting extra kills in the time you've saved, than you would've gotten for just picking up the drops manually
I really appreciate videos like this. Even though I already knew about it myself, I could see a new or returning player finding this super useful, especially since using the spring cleaner isn’t exactly intuitive
Also nice to know, if you get noted 50 rune salvages from a boss (for example Angel of Dryness) it only uses 1 spring for high alching al the salvages.
i use the disaseble option on items less than 10k in value and the hige alch on items from 16k and up since ironman account and it can be anoying to get tensile components, Specialy on a taskman account. tbf the 110 fletching uppdate and the upcoming 110 crafting uppdate is helping there with adding 105 crafting etc in elite tier, 95 in hard tier 80 in med tier i think so the amount of components you can get for the cleaner is defenitly increasing because of that (Higely recomended to test out the taskman game mode its a lot of fun)
You should have mentioned that the most effective way to set the salvage page up is to consider the current price of a spring since it fluctuates. Only alch salvage that will return more money than the cost of the spring. Anything that returns less should be disassembled. EDIT: You do hint at it, but don't specify exactly why you set up your page that way with the spring coat in mind. With all guides, info is likely to expire over time so your recommendation may not always be valid.
I just wish there was better usage for low tier salvage items in the invention workshop i feel like I got a lot of components that little use for most of them
Scimitars for subtle comps (I tend to buy x10 Steel, x10 Steel OH and x8 Black scimitars from Al-Kharid everyday). Shieldbows for tensile comps; end-game irons drown in magic logs, so you can easily make magic shieldbows.
@@mateomax3817 most slayer tasks, abyssal demons, most low level bosses like godwars 1 etc that drops ..drops on the floor and not in a chest/interface. basicly most places honestly.
This boi violates all the laws of thermodynamics. Monster you were killing drops a dozen I.O.U.s for yew shortbows? Those notes get eaten and the unspun flax and unspun logs required to make the items promised show up in your bank instantly. It doesn't matter what planet you're on when you get the drop either 😋
But whats the point if you total rich with bilions gp and also having lots of invention components? What's then? This item suppose to be for begginers players who saves time while during combat activity for example (only slayer) but if players does not have time for this other option is invention machines while you afk or offline...
this is for the drops...you get from killing stuff...it has nothing to do with alch mashines..its not even something to compare....it cleans up the floor when you kill stuff...if you want xp or money is up to you but its never not worth using for 95% of all combat activitys(ofc exclusing bosses with chest/interface loot)

Didn't know it had the ability to high alch noted items. Thanks for that :)
Cheers!
*_IT'S OVER 9000_*
Omg No way is this coincidence!
i personally set the salvage disassembly to anything below large/huge rune salvage
Cost effective and it adds up super quick; wasn't aware of how many compa you get from mithril onward personally since I was just doing steel and below shop runs
Spring cleaner, tome of um, accumulator, bone picker, gem bag, herb bag, whenever I'm out slaying. Oh and death note

Does it need to be in inventory or worn in pocket slot to work
doesn't matter. keep it in the inventory to save your pocket slot for something else
Great vid been using the spring cleaner since it came out, but didn't know research mode was free. Whoops, lots of wasted exp
can you do an ironman guide for spring cleaner? with items are best to disassemble for springs?

One more upgrade on my Ironman to go❤ my favorite item!
but can you recommend good places to use it? for example as money making while training combat skills

Basically anywhere which drops salvage that you deem worth it to high alch. Bosses are pretty common, for example.

Max springs, by the way is 250,000
10k springs away from filling mine up
Use this comment as a vote for the ability to add this item to the tool belt
my spring cleaner always does "attempts to clean..." don't know why :/ i have spring cleaner 9000
I have 240k springs in mine..
I should dust mine off...
Springs aren't used when it d/a an item...

It's useful for everyone. It saves time and space. Also money is money. Doesn't matter if you have billions or millions.
That's like saying my stack of 250,000 dstones is too large.

ok....care to elobrate?
as a ironman it is shit besides for dissasembling things sadly.
