Texas Democrat Lloyd Doggett calls for Biden to withdraw from presidential race

- As discussion over President Joe Biden's political future continues, House Democrat Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Texas is calling on the president to drop out of the presidential race.
Doggett became the first Democrat currently sitting in Congress to publicly encourage President Biden to withdraw from the race. Although President Biden is not officially the nominee yet, as the presumptive nominee with the overwhelming majority of pledged delegates, he would largely have to exit the race on his own volition for Democrats to replace him as the nominee.

I think they're laying it way too thick on Biden, Biden isn't the main problem here, they are, they pushed this agenda, they ensured Biden would fail, they should resign with Biden! They don't get to pin it all on their Patsy!
I think if they recognize now that Biden is a failure, then they too must also be failures because they too rode the Biden Agenda hard! Biden is just their scapegoat, they should resign as well!
Joe Biden has been a pretty decent president. He's righted many of the wrongs Trump instituted. Meanwhile he hasn't stopped Trump from possibly becoming our first American dictator, or playing the shadow president essentially running our courts and the House, meeting with foreign leaders, etc. So what good is righting all those wrongs if the wanna-be dictator will only redo them once in office--and much worse? He's been ineffective WHERE IT COUNTS!!
I'll vote for the guy, yes, considering the horrific alternative. But my heart's not in it.
If Kamala Harris replaces Joe Biden as the Democratic Presidential candidate in November, I think her V.P. pick should be Governor Gretchen Whitmore of Michigan.

I will support Biden over Trump in November, but this is a golden opportunity to "pass the torch to a new generation" (JFK 1961). My choice for the next candidate would be either Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC) or Gretchen Wilmer (Governor of Michigan). Kamala is inextricably bound to Biden I think, but I would certainly support her over Trump (I would back the neighbor's dog over that vile personage).
