- Closed-door meetings Tuesday among congressional Democrats left the party split on support for President Biden's 2024 election bid. Among those who are backing the president, few are giving full-throated endorsements of his campaign. CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes has more.

Oh just be quiet about it. Let him run and lose instead of having to end his career being forced out by his own party. I've never seen an incumbent treated like this. There's a reason why a party doesn't aggressively search for the best possible candidate during an incumbent year. Sometimes you lose. It's not the end of the world.
Unfortunately it IS the end of the world if he loses. The candidate should be based on what's better for the country, not on loyalty to a decaying incumbent.
