Your demo is just what I needed. I feel confident about what I can expect. I wish all demo videos can be so revealing.
The one thing you have to be careful of is that those front plastic screen protectors allow dust etc..under them through time and then the screen under gets scratched up from whatever gets under the plastic screen protector of thw case.
They actually have glue on the case screen and stick just like normal screen protector. If you still have doubt you can just directly install it with the original factory protector still on

The nice thing about the case options are that they are cheap. Get one. If you don't like it, it was only $12. I got 3 so far. I got a red leather...which I don't like the look compared to online. I have clear plastic, which I have right now. I just bought a green one like this one here. But has leather back.

I got the green, gold and silver one. These are the best cases I had in a while! I love the metal camera cover. Got mines for between 16 and 18 bucks each

I've got the exact same case and I find in the middle it's pretty responsive but at the edges and corners its takes quite a few touches to get it to do anything
can you attach this case to a magnet attached to the car aircon grill? Is the metal stand magnetic?
The hinge protector good for dust protection?
I got this case.... I dunno it makes it feel bulkier which almost defeats the purpose of its thinness. Also the front protection screen does not feel like it's flush against the phones screen and feels a bit cheap. The hinge protector also feels weird when opening and closing it... just feels unnatural. Just my 2 cents.
Love this case. Hate the screen protector is hit or miss with accuracy. Can it remove the tempered glass and still keep the front case piece intact?

Is there anything like this that doesn't have a kickstand I want to use a magsafe wallet on there, but I can't with that kickstand in the way. If I can remove it or find something without it like that it would be perfect!

front screen protection lacks of sensitivity and you won't enjoy the external touch screen, hinge protection is nice, the back latch is not equilibrated at all when folded and having a video call for example.
Does ANYONE know of a OnePlus Open case with hinge protection that DOES NOT COME WITH A PLASTIC FRONT DISPLAY PROTECTOR ON IT? (Or, one where you can remove the plastic from it without destroying the front section of the case?) I just bought the Open as an upgrade for my 3-year-old Z Fold2. When the Fold2 first came out, there were VERY few options for cases with hinge protection, but it wasn't too bad because my favorite case to this day for the Fold2 was one of them at that time: the Spigen Tough Armor Pro for Fold2. It's a little expensive for a case at $80, but considering the price of the phone, it's worth it to me to properly protect it. It made the Fold2 a little chonkier, yeah, but you really felt as if you had some protection on the phone if it dropped and you get used to the chonk in no time. It lasted me for over a year before I had to get a different case and it absolutely protected my phone from a few drops, I'm sure of it. It has bits of shock-absorbing padding on both parts of the case (literally was even lining the insides of the smaller part,) and it DIDN'T HAVE A PLASTIC SCREEN PROTECTOR IMPEDING YOUR USE OF THE FRONT DISPLAY! For the moment I'm just using the case that comes with the device (which is cool that OnePlus includes it at all) but I always like to have a hinge protector on the case I have with my foldable phone. Unfortunately, even though Spigen made a Fold5 and Pixel Fold variant of the same case, they didn't produce one for the Open, so if ANYONE knows of something like this without a baked-in piece of plastic between you and the front screen lemme know in a reply.
My experience with this case: The edges of the kick stand are really sharp, doesnt feel nice. Also the camera pattern feels annoying. The screenprotector is not perfect, I noticed that the corners do not register the touches. The kickstand is fine when the phone is closed, but is too clumbsy when the phone is unfolded. Once touch and that thing falls..
Its heavy too
They need to make this in an aramid fiber option .

@@vdoestech yeah, I'm surprised this has a smaller battery than stock S22 ultra, which I run with an additional 10,000mah battery case. I hate worrying about running out of battery in case there is an emergency or can't charge somewhere.

no hinge protection with that and you're only getting the back protector and a glass screen protector on the front. Will be stuck with using the OEM front case that came with phone which is "cheap" feeling

Ordered this case and it shows fingerprints like crazy, returned it. Otherwise it is a great case.

u don't clean your front screen before sticking a protector on it .....
