Not for nothing, but the voice acting by William Daniels in this scene (and indeed entire series) is outstanding. An AI is emotionally vulnerable and it's believable. James Noble yea, like in one of the Star Trek movies, the Klingon vessel is cloaked and Uhura comes up with the idea to use the gas sensors onboard to modify the photon torpedoes so they will take it out. Gee, I surprised one of the Starfleet scientists have figured that out many years ago?
Paul Lee The Klingon vessel in Star Trek 6 was the first vessel to ever be able to fire while cloaked, and the sensors were tracking the path of the torpedos and not the ship itself. So it’s not that the problem wouldn’t have been solved by someone else, it was simply the first time the problem was encountered.

Hahaha
Tony Stark was able to build an arc reactor in a cave!!!! WITH A BUNCH OF SCRAPS!!!!
Willing suspension of disbelief!
Kitts voice in this episode scared me when I was a kid
I did just going though the entire series now on season 2 at moment love me some knight rider
6:36 Wolverine
Most of that will buff right out.
I was I kid when i first saw Knight Rider and it was a wow moment, pity the reboot had a very chunky car and way to many people driving chucky kitt, that why the original will always be best.
Great episode!
6:00
Just try straight ahead, he could barely manage that! 😂😂
KITT: My turbine? Oh goodness, without it I'm powerless!
I love this show and watched every episode of Knight Rider ❤️💗❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Lol ram jet, 310mph - I must have missed that one, probably watched hard castle and McCormick though
I guess those "Lazer Restraints" didn't work as well as Seat Belts....
I thought KITT didn't get the Passive Laser Restraint System until Season 3.
My favourite tv serise knight rider
The stunt double of Hasselhoff under the car is not even remotely convincing. 🤣
gerv55 😂
This was classic as Michael had to get that thick Manual and figure out how to get KITT rolling rather than KITT having the answers
“Look out, Michael! There’s a mountain.”
7:07 i like how KITT’s voice gets normal :D
The zig instead of zag reference was used in the episode Knight Racer too.
It was also used in Season 1 episode 2 Deadly Maneuvers. Where the military were shooting at Michael and KITT. Michael tells KITT, " Zig zag KITT! Zig zag!
@@markraimo1283 Cool. I didn't catch it there, although I do know the scene you're talking about.
Oh no!!! the Hof is down!! will he make it??? will he survive???
find out tonight...on Knight Rider 😂
KITT doesn't Turbo Boost in this episode at all, yet we heard the sound effects normally used for Turbo Boost in this scene. Love it when they do that.
If I remember correctly, Michael pressed the turbo boost button to get KITT started.
His turbo boost could be used for different functions
Turbo boost was used to initiate the ram jet. Hence why you heard it
@@bohoward6991 Including pursuit mode.
I saw this on NBC.COM and they cut out the part with the dude and his donkey and where KITT Said There is a mountain and did not show how Michel made it back to FLAG.
Yes, Cutted out on prime video too... I really don't get why 😑
I watched this episode w/ my Dad when I was little.(Circa 1984.) 📺
You’d think KITT would have emergency supplies somewhere..
Was half expecting donkey guy to say "jumpin' Jehoshaphat!"
It's like a million degrees and Micheal is still wearing his leather jacket. His perm is has zero hairs out of place. WTF? LMAO
That old dude's evasive manouvers at 7:25 are even worse than the famed Prometheus school of running away from things.
Yes, lying flat _will_ protect you against a car passing by dangerously close.
i like that this show shows that kitt can get damaged
