Let me say this: I am an African artist and these guys really inspire me with their rhythm and soulfulness. Though I don't understand their language, my heart pumps to every beat in their lovely songs. African artists, let us be proud of our heritage and keep the spirit of these musical heroes alive. VIVA AFRIKA, VIVA!!!!
It is ashamed that after all these intellectual people, most African nations including Congo have back pedal in every aspect,Greedy has taken over among our leaders. It is sad how most of us embracing western cultures and their music as well. Franco was ahead of himself and if you do not agree just put on noise cancellation headphones and listening to his music. Asante sana Abou Mungu akubariki!
This makes me to remember those years when music was real, you could dance from sunset to sunrise without getting tired. Franco you make me to see you life on the stage. R. I. P MZEE.

Loboko is the hidden jewel on this album. It starts at 33:42 with relaxing notes and vocal harmonies that make you sing along - mama eeeh eeeeeeeh. The instrumental starting after the chorus as 40:48, ending at 43:55 is perfectly constructed in string and brass, absolutely mesmerizing. I've been listening to Franco for years, to hundreds of beautiful songs - and this one is so strong. Why is it so rare? Was it ever a hit? If you know about this song, please share.
for this particular LP, The runaway hit was Tokoma Ba Camarade Pamba. I believe it was also THE MAESTRO'S personal favourite song, together with Tres Fache

That's how i found all these Franco music on RUclips. I didn't know how much music was out here...then three days after his death, I was listening to BINA NA NGAI NA RESPECT and i typed Madilu system in Google and dang, he was gone. It was too weird
