The reason your channel is growing so fast is because you are a good sports journalist and people trust you. I can’t tell you how many times I heard something (or even read a headline on ESPN) and thought,”I’ll wait till Brodie covers it.” You stick to the facts in your video. You give your opinion, and it’s well-reasoned. That’s so important in a sports reporting ecosystem that is nothing but hot takes.
Mr. Brazil: I'm so glad the algorithm let me find you on RUclips. Although I am a sports fan, I have no connection to any Bay Area sports teams. But your videos make it seem like I'm just having a good conversation with a really nice neighbor. That's reason enough for me to keep coming back to your channel.
Living on the East coast, I only discovered you in the last 12 months or so because of the A's travesty. You are insightful, an excellent communicator, and seem to be a genuinely good person. I wish you all the success you and your family can handle! 11:48
Moved to Vegas a few years ago and following the A’s plans to move here with very mixed feelings. Stumbled upon your channel while seeking more info. You provide a rare blend of both “a regular guy we can relate to” and a “professional journalist.” You are a true talent. Love your channel!
Watching from Tampa FL. Definitely became a fan quickly with all the coverage on the A’s situation and Tampa Bay Rays. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors and hoping the channel stays.
I left my tv job last year since it wasn't paying the bills anymore despite the grueling hours. I was like okay let me take a moment....... Okay cant take anymore i'm bored get the camera were making a movie now! LOL. You got this man!
Brodie, you could be doing pre and post game shows for dodgeball on the ESPN Ocho and I'd still be watching you!! Best luck on a great landing somewhere that excites you!! ~Long Time Fan and not a First Time Commenter
I appreciate all the coverage you gave us OAKLAND A'S fans. I wish the best for your future, and there is still a tiny sliver of hope that we will someday again be hearing you cover the OAKLAND A'S.
You deserve a national platform these videos are informative, real, and never have a spin or agenda. Really excited to see this channel grow! Being “real” and trying to make it big in social media might seem counterintuitive but your content will take you as far as you push it to. I don’t want my sports news coming from anybody else. Cheers!
Brodie! April and I miss seeing you a lot. Glad you have this channel going so that i can still hear your input and stories. I am sorry you were not able to be a part of the media for Jumbos retirement ceremony. Every time i got to meet you i appreciate the time you took to chat. One of my favorite times was when we met you in Detroit outside of the joe Louis arena for the last sharks game there. I think you chatted with us for about 15 minutes or more. Thanks and I hope to see you soon at Sharks related events!
I am so grateful to have met you before the last A's game this year. I was waiting to enter the stadium and you walked by when I called out to you. I just wanted to shake your hand and thank you for everything you have shared with us all these years. It looks like the shakeouts in sports media are still happening, but hopefully there will be more stability on the near future. In the meantime, I'm so glad to have your RUclips content, it's a welcome respite from the negativity all around us, please keep posting! --Joanne S. (San Jose, CA)
I'm a newer viewer who actually subcribed just a few days ago I think. Your videos are very imformative and you explain everything so well and it's easy to understand, and you're very easy to listen to. Perfect for today's world where so much of the news (not just about sports) can be so insane. Me myself, I'm a hockey fan. I'm usually a Rangers fan, although I've been paying a lot of attention to the Flames because of the death of the Gaudreau brothers. Please keep doing what you're doing, man
I can’t wait to see what you end up doing next. The Sharks pre and post game isn’t the same without you. I rarely even watch it any more. Best of luck whenever your life path takes you. 😊
I look forward to your videos every day, Brodie. A great way to wrap up my day on the East Coast. Keep up the awesome work and hope you get a new gig soon!!!
I’m from Utah, I had never heard of you until you started doing some coverage of the Coyotes to Utah in the NHL. Ever since I saw those I have been a subscriber and have enjoyed watching your content. Please don’t stop. I hope you can find a place that fits your lifestyle. Good luck!
Brodie, I love this video idea. I’ve been around this channel for a long time, and I’m very proud of how much you’ve grown it, and it will be cool to look back on yourself in so many years. I think back to my childhood and high school watching you on what was then Comcast Sportsnet through college and now and it’s amazing all the changes that have happened. I remember you and Ahmed talking during Covid, and then the whole world got to hear him in Paris this summer! Many things change - but the fact that you are genuine, kind, a fan of different brews, a T-swift enjoyer, and a devoted dog and human dad doesn’t. And I trust it won’t, and that will make us all very happy ❤
Everything will be ok, Brodie. I just experience the exact same situation, so much so I felt i was the one talking in this video. Guess what? Something good did happened eventually. And now I am back in the game and so will you. Thank you for opening yourself to us, your audience. Stay strong and positive.
A true champion along side Casey Pratt on covering the A’s , sports in general 🙏🏼 Bay Area sports coverage will never be the same again; wishing you all the best you do Brodie I’m always going to be a fan of yours 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Brodie, as an LA sports fan but enjoying your content here on RUclips. I hope somewhere in LA gives you a job. You have the skills for a big market, and I’m sure smaller ones as well. Best of luck bro
I appreciate all your work, Brodie, especially coverage of the A's, who I started watching as a little kid in 1969. I always look forward to your next video, and wish you the best always. You are an important voice in the sports world!
I have a feeling this RUclips channel will explode soon and this will become your full time job. Only a matter of time.. you have the perfect platform to run your own show and merch. We support you Brody!!! Plus, the ability to be your own boss on RUclips and have censorship resistance. Good luck!!!
Interesting video Brodie. Not going to lie....6 months ago, I had NO idea who you were and I'd seen you many times as for almost 3 years, I dated a San Jose Sharks/Oakland A's fan, but that was here in Dallas....so of course when the Sharks/A's came to town, like any good boyfriend, I grabbed my Sharks/A's jersey....and we went to the games. She probably already knew of you, since she was from the Bay Area. That said...I enjoy your style, delivery and the wide range of topics you tackle. On this personal side....I say enjoy this time NOW while you can. Seems like with this video, you're doing just that. Good for you, you have earned it! Back in 2020, I left my job (my choice) due to "stylistic differences". I had 14 years in at that company, which I still think is a great company. I did not have a new job to go to and oh yeah, that girlfriend, I didn't tell her until I left. She was NOT happy. But me? I had a plan...and I enjoyed the final 3 months of 2020 doing whatever I wanted. Money wasn't an issue....so the time was mine. The girlfriend? She was gone by the start of 2021....just wasn't working out, but hey, by May 2021...I was employed again (after starting to look in mid-January). Still at that job now 3 1/2 years later. So something good is coming, just be ready for it. And now....keep doing what you do. As Ferris Bueller said "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while. YOU could MISS it!" Ok, rant off....LOL
Brodie made me tear up at your wise and mature, optimistic introspection. What about a Church of Brodie that helps people adapt in life as you have? Bravo .
Honestly Brodie, I think you have enough talent and a following to actual bring value to a teams official media. I could definitely see you do a post game show for a team or be a on screen analyst.
I dont know how you showed up on my feed, but since that day, you're my preferred US sports newscaster. Love your work from the other part of Atlantic.😊
I know it only about growth , I believe you will be over 100k subscribers by the end of baseball seasons Btw. Love, love the love shows + happy to buy super chats. Back to my sharks question, as the Sharks get better , you could cement yourself as the go to for SJS content on RUclips.
Hey Brodie, I live in West Virginia & never saw any of your NBC work on tv obviously. I only discovered you on RUclips this year. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and wish you nothing but the best whatever you do. Keep Us updated and if you’re ever in the DC area, let us know. Would love a East Coast Meet & Greet/Hang w your YT Family!
When one door closes, another one opens. Just a matter of time before a new opportunity. You have already accomplished so much and will continue to do so. You certainly have brought A's and Rays fans together. Thanks for the great coverage.
Been a fan of your YT show since 2020 as I’m not local. I can see you have the talent to work on something that’s National instead of local (if you want to go that route). I think eventually someone in the sports broadcasting world will hire you. Keep at it Brodie, love the content.
I found you early in 2024 when the Coyotes found themselves at the end of an era, and starting the new era with SME in Utah. I have enjoyed your content on this channel. I wish you nothing but the best as you find the next moments and opportunities.
This was a great video Brodie, I'm always wondering how you're doing, and wishing you the best! I'm really excited for You and this RUclips channel, and how well it's doing; I'm hoping you hit 100k subs sometime this next year! And I'm glad you can take a breather for a bit and relax before your next big adventure! I honestly think that when you hit about 150k-200k subs, you could probably do RUclips full time, that would be really cool ;)
I love You Brodie Brazil. I'm not a fan of A's nor Sharks and I've never been to the Bay Area but your coverage of the last days of A's and everything else has been nothing but spectacular. I enjoy your videos Even if it's not a Content I'd regularly Watch. Keep going buddy, you're awesome!
You can go ahead and steer the ship 360 degrees, you’ll still be going the same direction! 😂 Great video as always, good to hear how you’re doing and what you’ve been up to!
Brodie, the reason your followers enjoy you, is a combination of many aspects. You're humble, but very talented; the topics you cover you bring to light facts that others fail to uncover. You are succinct, yet thorough, and have a great grasp of so many sports. The sports broadcasting industry has been turned on it's head, with those like Bally's, etc. shelling out far too much money for broadcast rights, which has hurt on air personalities like yourself. There needs to be a correction. Maybe you could do a video on that. Whoever sees your value, will be lucky to have you.
in the long run, going fully independent is the way to go for sure a lot of media personalities were good when they worked for a big network, but once they went independent on youtube, the quality of their content went to whole other level
I miss the Brodie & Brownie show for the Sharks pre and post game shows. Watched you and former Sharks players for such a long time on those shows and it just feels weird not seeing you on NBC Sports BA anymore.
Brodie, I came across your work as an A's fan here in the UK. There was a time through the relocation saga when your videos were my absolute first go to for news and updates on that. Sadly, with that happening, I've moved on to supporting the Guardians (made a lot easier by the fact that I live in another country and of course the Vogt link makes it easier, but there's nothing like your first love and the A's were mine). Anyway, I still check in on your videos, but realise I've never taken the time to thank you. So thank you for your work. A broadcaster and communicator as immensely talented as you will be fine, wherever your life and career takes you.
You're a pro and it shows in the production value of your videos, clarity in the way you speak, and the preparation you do. Would love to see you continue to cover hockey, sharks, dig into stats, get interviews with players or teams because of your network, and just see where it goes. Easily could see you keep broadcasting whether it's KNBR, your own thing, podcasting discussions/interviews, writing articles or wven Books , whatever. Follow your intuition and creative thread for as long as you have the fire.
As someone who’s been subscribed to you since under 20k subscribers, I am really thankful for your channel! Here’s an idea, come out here to Utah and apply for a broadcasting job. Heaven knows you’ve done enough videos about our great state in the last year. Haha
I am only new to your channel, I think your World Series preview was one of the first of your videos I saw. I am a Washington Nationals fan living in the UK so I don’t know why the all powerful RUclips algorithm brought your channel my way but I am glad it did. The algorithm moves in mysterious ways. I enjoy watching your videos and wish you all the best for the future.
Hey Brody, I really enjoyed this video! You mention trying to make things to add value to others. I love that, and I really enjoy what you create! I’d love to see more videos where you make art for yourself like this one, art that inspires you and that you would enjoy watching. You have been a part of my household for many years, always a friendly face after a sharks or A’s game, thus I have really enjoyed getting to know more about the person behind the broadcaster!
Good youtubers make different videos for different audiences. Some are for your current base, i.e. subscribers. Some are for reaching new audiences, and some are for themselves. Always take care of yourself Brodie. Still miss you on pre and post-game every time the Sharks play.
I never seen you on TV as I'm in ohio but I love your you tube videos and you kept me updated with the A's and sharks game and I know that you will find something in the majors soon ill would love to see you in ohio covering reds or guards or blue jackets and cavs
Brodie, I’ve been watching you for years and man, this video really hit me. Much like you, I’ve been in broadcasting for almost 20 years and a few days ago, I found out that will be coming to an end at my current studio in 2 months. A lot of what you said is exactly how I’m feeling. Trying to put it all in perspective has been really hard. I’m just hoping I can find something with the little runway I have. I too hate being idle. Good luck my man. Hope our paths cross in this small world of broadcasting.
Thanks Brody. Will be interesting to see who covers the A's in my town next spring. Sea changes for sure. I still have rotating wallpaper on my Mac from the last match at Oakland and the drone/firework show after the last Yankees game.
I think the best way to sum up what you have meant to your fans is by comments by my SO who, while a hockey fan, isn't a Sharks fan. Multiple times already this season, she has mentioned how Sharks pregame, intermission, and post game is just not as good anymore now that you are not on. Your passion for the sports and the teams you covered always came through and made your work entertaining and informative. It is those qualities that will lead you to another gig doing what you love. In the meantime, I would love to see you show up at The Tank when Sharks Live is broadcasting from there so you can photo bomb the hosts like so many did to you! 😅
You’ve been on my Tv since HSSF. I know the new Sharks pre and post team is still finding their stride, but it’s just not as much fun or fulfilling. I’d love to see you get a sponsor to do a weekly (maybe Saturday or Wednesday) post game call in show for the Sharks. Keep working hard!
The chase is always more fun that the finish. Appreciate your journey. It’s gonna be a successful journey! And you will look back and be thankful. I’m sure your family is very proud of you. Life is worth living and you are living it!!
I really enjoy your videos. I’m a baseball fan (Cleveland Guardians!) and really appreciate your knowledgeable, insightful and eloquent pieces. I look forward to seeing what is next for you!
Some thoughts from a fan. Love the intro with the spacey music and the high-tech sound equipment. Right off the bat it looks professional and inviting. You have a great voice. The internet continues to disrupt media and it's not over yet. We started going to one Giants game a year, so we're not exactly sports crazy, but we love the vibe at Oracle Park Stadium! With the electric train, there's more incentive to come from the South Bay. Great views, tasty eats. This last visit I forgot my radio and what a bummer! It was like being blind. Miller, Flemming, Kuiper and Krukow take the game to another level. I see an opportunity. Damon Bruce, and others cast off by traditional media, have the right idea with their watch party livestreams for the 49ers. The same can be done for baseball, basketball, all sports and events. They're gaining a following. Given the ages of the media stalwarts, the sea change is happening. Good luck!
I know you just recently interviewed Josh Reddick. It was a great video. Can you interview others on that team? like Coco, Grant Balfour, and Brandon Moss? And especially Steven Vogt. I think it would be so interesting to talk to him about playing with the A’s to now being a manager, and winning the AL Manager of the Year award.
You're a class act Brodie and I think radio has a big future for you as well. Your loss of a gig had nothing to do with your talent or work ethic. You're an A player and you will land.
I am not from the Bay Area. I live in Michigan. Never been a part of the As fan base. But I found your channel when learning about the As situation. And stick around to hear what else you have to say regardless of the topic.
Looking good, Brodie. With recent videos recorded outside of the studio I was concerned that something may have changed in your home situation. (Granted, they were about “breaking news” stories and perhaps there just wasn’t time to prepare for a studio session). I can’t promise you what will come your way in the future, but I believe in karma and you deserve good things to come.
I knew a cardiologist who told me, when I worked so hard that I couldn’t keep a relationship going, that no one who was dying would say “I regret not working harder.” BTW, a lot of RUclips content creators make a career out of it. I enjoy your channel, especially when you talk about things outside of your geographic area like the Tampa Bay Rays and their stadium problems. I hope they move to Montreal. That would be great.
Brodie you’re going to hit that 100K by next summer. It’s not outside the realm of possibility for you to pay the bills with it, and I wish it upon you. Also, are you by chance bored enough to do an interview with an absolute nothing channel? If not, we understand. :) Either way, hang in there man, I got a feeling you’re gonna get an offer outta nowhere as soon as companies start hiring after the holidays. You got this! 💪🏼

Same here. If it's important enough to want to know the whole story - I hope Brodie covers it!
I agree. Brodie could/should be a national journalist, he's the best.
This dood is like Father of the Year, Husband of the Year, Sportscaster of the Year and I'm very happy for him.
Your high quality production value deserves a generous sponsor, that's a fact! Your 15+ years in media is self evident. Thanks for the update Brodie..
Miss you Brodie, especially on the Sharks Intermissions, I find myself always changing the channel during intermissions...

Amen. Been watching you since the high school sports focus show
I dont know how you showed up on my feed, but since that day, you're my preferred US sports newscaster. Love your work from the other part of Atlantic.😊
I am enjoying the heck out of your RUclips channel, Brodie. Good things will come. Keep the faith.
I know it only about growth , I believe you will be over 100k subscribers by the end of baseball seasons Btw. Love, love the love shows + happy to buy super chats. Back to my sharks question, as the Sharks get better , you could cement yourself as the go to for SJS content on RUclips.
Keep on keepin' on Brodie! Good things are coming your way.
I've discovered you in the last few months, and I find you to be very insightful! Whatever you choose to do in the future I know you'll be successful!
Hey Brodie,
I live in West Virginia & never saw any of your NBC work on tv obviously.
I only discovered you on RUclips this year. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and wish you nothing but the best whatever you do. Keep Us updated and if you’re ever in the DC area, let us know. Would love a East Coast Meet & Greet/Hang w your YT Family!
We’re always here to listen buddy ❤
Dude you will succeed dude you are very talented.
You're learning one of life's most valuable lessons, Brodie.
You work to live... not live to work.
When one door closes, another one opens. Just a matter of time before a new opportunity. You have already accomplished so much and will continue to do so. You certainly have brought A's and Rays fans together. Thanks for the great coverage.
I’ve been loving the content, you’re one of the few channels i hit that bell for!
Been a fan of your YT show since 2020 as I’m not local. I can see you have the talent to work on something that’s National instead of local (if you want to go that route). I think eventually someone in the sports broadcasting world will hire you. Keep at it Brodie, love the content.
Love this channel. Wishing you nothing but the best.
I found you early in 2024 when the Coyotes found themselves at the end of an era, and starting the new era with SME in Utah. I have enjoyed your content on this channel. I wish you nothing but the best as you find the next moments and opportunities.
We really, really miss you on the Sharks broadcast. I hope thinks are good with you and your family.
Your a legend Brodie
You can go ahead and steer the ship 360 degrees, you’ll still be going the same direction! 😂
Great video as always, good to hear how you’re doing and what you’ve been up to!
The idea of a public time capsule in video form is really cool
Love ya Brodie!
Hey Brodie all the best to you in your future endeavors you deserve it!
in the long run, going fully independent is the way to go for sure
a lot of media personalities were good when they worked for a big network, but once they went independent on youtube, the quality of their content went to whole other level
A lot of this resonated with me, Brodie. Daydreaming about before all this happened... Stay strong, dude.
Brodie I will tune in so much more often if you covered the Warriors on a consistent basis. You are awesome. I miss you doing the A’s
The ‘Voice’ Of Bay Area Sports Talk
Brodie, you are the man! I wish you could join tv or radio broadcast of Sharks' games! We miss you!
I wish you nothing but the best in your life journey!
Only the best to you.
I never seen you on TV as I'm in ohio but I love your you tube videos and you kept me updated with the A's and sharks game and I know that you will find something in the majors soon ill would love to see you in ohio covering reds or guards or blue jackets and cavs
You have that feeling because you're meant to do great things, and you will my friend 💯
Chin up, Brodie. You are clearly a knowledgeable and passionate professional. Would love to see you on Sportsnet or TSN in Canada!
I appreciate you making videos every single day I love all your contacts
Well stated. Really appreciate the support
I really enjoy your videos. I’m a baseball fan (Cleveland Guardians!) and really appreciate your knowledgeable, insightful and eloquent pieces. I look forward to seeing what is next for you!
Glad to see you on Blue Sky. Love your videos.
So proud of you Brody your cousin Kris
I am not from the Bay Area. I live in Michigan. Never been a part of the As fan base.
But I found your channel when learning about the As situation. And stick around to hear what else you have to say regardless of the topic.
Looking good, Brodie. With recent videos recorded outside of the studio I was concerned that something may have changed in your home situation. (Granted, they were about “breaking news” stories and perhaps there just wasn’t time to prepare for a studio session).
I can’t promise you what will come your way in the future, but I believe in karma and you deserve good things to come.
I knew a cardiologist who told me, when I worked so hard that I couldn’t keep a relationship going, that no one who was dying would say “I regret not working harder.”
BTW, a lot of RUclips content creators make a career out of it.
Either way, hang in there man, I got a feeling you’re gonna get an offer outta nowhere as soon as companies start hiring after the holidays. You got this! 💪🏼
