I think it’s really a gold class Benchmade at half the price. I really like the mini Bugout and this version is the best out there. Although it’s still not cheap but it looks and feels like a much more expensive knife for what you’re paying.
I got one. Great knife, definitely a top of the line knife. I just have to pick up some diamond rods for my Sharpmaker to sharpen it up when it does get dull. I would say it has a touch of elegance, but is ideal for EDC.

Thank you! The stock set is pretty nice right out of the box. On the mini Bugout, not too many are making better carbon fiber scales yet. On a full sized Bugout I would suggest looking at Death Grips Custom Scales. Whoa!!

I can get my hands on a 533-3 for like fifty more bucks if I return my fork today and get the mini bugout. The action on the fork is up there with the super Freek, but I think it’s a bit too thick for the size. What’s your opinion on the two, what’s better for edc, and pairing with an OTF or a Slipjoint. That’s my edc when leaving for the day. I own a full size BO, a Mini Crooked (favorite), 945, 940, 9400, Super Freek, Shootiut, and obv the north fork. Im again able to put 50 to the fork and grab the S90 bugout. What’s your opinion.

Now if you are looking for something a little bigger, but not as bulky, I would suggest looking at a CLA as it is thinner than the north fork and has a larger grip and blade than the mini Bugout. Cool knife, but you can get a USA made Tactile Knife Co. Rockwall for $300 which is titanium and Magnacut.....Not hating on Benchmade, but i don't understand why they are so far behind the times with their decades of experience.
Well, Benchmade has had titanium knives for years (decade). Magnacut is new and I am sure we will see something from them with that as most manufactures are getting a hold of it now. Hard to compare with catalog/company sizes. Like them both!!
Yea, i got one ...its a Fake sad to say. Had a couple who sells the real ones say its a Fake but a well made one. Regardless, am 99 percent sure the steel is shit. For me its a "knowledge knot." Won't ever be scammed again. I have learned a lot since i bought it. People BEWARE of the knock offs.

The standard Bugout is the perfect size for me. I am not feeling this. But hey I have not handled it, so what do I know?
If you like the full sized Bugout, then make sure to check one out at your local dealer. My best recommendation for most knives!!
