gah, i loved this game as a child but never was able to finish it. it’s so strange how certain sounds stick with you. i remember specific sounds from this game- like the sound when you pick up an item, the scratching, the enemies cries.
I remember this being probably my favourite gameboy game besides mystery dungeon. I did not remember the game being this short, guess I must have replayed it a lot. Good memories
I was expecting this game to suck like Ratatouille on GBA but to my surprise this game actually looked pretty good and the gameplay didn't look awful either.

Both Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS versions are better than GameCube and Wii versions, which are suck. Music in GBA version is MIDI-like, while in DS version music resembles bad (NGC/Wii) versions' OST. And yes, GBA version looks like puzzle platformer and DS version is combination of The Lost Vikings and Pac-Man World (GBA). Ubisoft's Montreal and Quebec studios made portable versions better than home versions and they were good in DS era.

The fact is that Ubisoft's Montreal and Quebec studios developed GBA version not as quickly as the home versions. DS version is good, too.
Me and one of my buddies from high school used to screw around with speedrunning this game. We were terrible speedrunners but it was very fun.
I played this game one time a long and enjoyed it. Beat it on one go. Very enjoyable and replayable

At 7:32, I use the growl to freeze the squirrel, so I can whack it without losing a heart.
